Let me start with the food was amazing and the place is beautiful and staff very friendly. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite for one night and I can't say we were pleased with our room. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable and the room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy despite the fan on high and it wasn't hot...

Take a walk to the lakeshore, sit in a rocker on the front porch or dine in the beautiful great room. No matter your choice, you will be satisfied at the Inn. This is a beautifully designed well managed bed and breakfast that comes with our highest recommendation. It is a favorite place for A Midsummer Nights Dream.

Built in the late 1800's as a railroad hotel and moved by logs and horses to its current location in the 1920's, the Chamberlin Inn is one of those places you feel like the second you walk in the door. Our group of three stayed here for two nights while dogsledding at nearby Natures Kennel, which we scheduled and purchased...

We stayed overnight, plus had dinner and breakfast at the Inn. Very friendly on the phone when I was making our room reservation and deciding which room. Check-in for the room is in the small area just off the main dining room. We gave our name and said we were checking in. We were handed the key to our room...

The staff was wonderful, helpful reached out to us warmly. Best we remember. Only disappointment was with it being cold there was no fire lit. So seemed a bit uncomfortable and our room either had heat full blast or non which we chose to sleep better. Still love the inn flavor and atmosphere!

We spent a couple of nights at this B&B / restaurant. It was a great experience. I would like to highly recommend this restaurant for dinner if you're in the neighborhood. This place is hard to get into without a reservation, so call ahead. I had the special and it was. Prime rib wth stuffed portable love mushrooms and two...

I've stopped at Chamberlin's several times for dinner over the years and stayed once while snowmobiling. Always great food and the rooms are nice and comfortable. This time was no exception. I stayed in the small room with no TV and shared bath but it was all I needed. Rooms come with bathrooms and Jacuzzis or with shared baths.

Staying at the ole forest inn is like staying in someone's home. Service is friendly, food is excellent and sitting on the veranda on an evening or for breakfast looking out over the lake is idyllic. The homeliness means you miss some amenities, but don't let that out you off. We eere there in hot weather and missed air conditioning,...

Went for a quiet romantic dinner as described on the website what we didnt know was there was a band setting up to play in the small dining room. As we feared it was so loud you could not hear each other talk any longer. The music was appropriate the sound level was not. Music in a dining room should...

Chamberlin’s is a big, square lodge on a bluff overlooking Big Manistique Lake with a small restaurant and bar on the main floor. A large staircase is in the middle of the building leading to the rooms upstairs. We stayed one night and had three rooms with private baths which were well decorated and comfortable. Many of the rooms share...
