The room looked clean, and the location was great, but in the morning, I saw a couple of cockroaches both in the bathroom and around the sink. I also see by the advertised prices that I paid about $50 more than they have advertised. Buyer beware!

The DeWitt Sleep Inn was clean, quiet, and priced right. Easy to find. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was so so, but it served our purposes. We traveled in early May of 2022. 200+ characters reached.

My family all returned home for my mother's funeral in St. Johns. We reserved several rooms for one or two nights, depending on the family. There was a terrible smell in the rooms, maybe the cleaning solution? The door of the wardrobe was broken and to the side in one sister's room. She also killed a cockroach by the room door. There was little to no breakfast left by the time we arrived the next morning. Do you not count the number of guests before making breakfast for them? It's sad when I remember what a beautiful hotel it was 20 years ago. This place needs a LOT of TLC before I'd consider returning.

This was a two story hotel and I had requested a top floor room, but we were given a first floor room near the dining area. We had to request a new room because the door would not close properly or lock. The second room was fine, but the bed was too firm for me. It was quiet. The temperature was a little hard to regulate on the window unit. A sheet and comforter was on the bed so it was hard to keep comfortable because it was a little too warm even with the heat turned down. The room was sufficient, king bed, microwave, fridge, coffee maker. Shower took a little bit to warm up, and the pressure was a little light, but it was ok. The breakfast was standard breakfast fare. Like the 24 hour coffee station. It was ok for one night.

This hotel is a fairly nice, fairly cheap hotel that leaves a lot to be desired. It has no rooms with two queen beds. Two doubles is the best that you can get so my feet were left hanging over the end of the bed. There is no closet or clothes hanging facility in the room other than a small freestanding wardrobe. It is one of those types of hotel rooms where the sink is out in the actual room and only the toilet and shower are separated off by a sliding door. There is no tub, only a small stand up shower maybe 3 ft by 3 ft in size. This is a good hotel for construction workers and I noticed a lot of work trucks in the parking lot. There is a outdoor pool which is nice but it is outdoors in Michigan which means only a couple of months use. In November the pool is closed. There is no fitness room but there was mention of hotel guests being able to use a nearby gym. That agreement went out the door with covid and has not come back so there is no ability to work out anywhere close. The hotel does not have a fitness room.

I had read reviews before booking. I wasn't expecting a lot from this hotel. We were very pleased. King bed was terrific, and the pillows too. Room was clean. Nice shower, roomy enough. We stayed here to be close to the DeWitt Banquet Center. It was just across the hotel parking lot. Would stay here again.

We have stayed before, room was clean and quiet. No box of kleenex was frustrating, but we managed with toilet tissue. Thank goodness we did not run out because there was no more! The lack of breakfast to speak of was very disappointing! The outside by the side door is a joke; tons of cigarette butts, drink cups and other junk plus tons of weeds. We were staying for two days, so had to step over and around multiple times. Had this been clean would have given higher rating!

The DeWitt Sleep Inn was clean, quiet, very comfortable, and inexpensive. I was happy that the Windows could be opened. The lady who checked us in at 6:40 pm on 27 July was very helpful!! I would give the hotel 5 stars, except they said they had a breakfast, but it was really pitiful. We would have been happy with a mini box of cereal and a carton of milk. We ate at Bob Evans, which was great. The low price of the room offset the breakfast.

No social distancing or mask even though they have a sign on the front door to wear a mask. Room very small...typical Sleep Inn. Breakfast was a joke. Only food offered was a muffin, yogurt and some sort of soft taco! Hotels advertises breakfast. From desk staff thought it was a joke that I was complaining about breakfast. I reminded them that the Gov. of Michigan removed ALL COVD mandates for business 2 days ago.
