We went up for a mini family vacation and spent three nights at the Blue Haven Beach resort. The cabins were exactly as shown on the site and perfect for four people. The beach was absolutely amazing with a beautiful sunrise. Lots of room to sit on the beach and you can walk up and down the Lake Huron shoreline. It is obvious that they are updating the cabins, however, they were very clean. They have outdoor toys for the children and outdoor games available. There are three fire pits and you can purchase wood on site. The owners are very responsive and accommodating.
We ate at the Red Fork Restaurant which was very good. Also, it is worth waiting in line on Saturday and Sunday morning to get the homemade donuts at Cedar Lake grocery store.
All in all, we had a great trip and made some good family memories.

We rented 4 cottages for our whole family. There was more than enough space to be together or just in our own quarters. The beach is beautiful as all the photos show....all times of day and good dark skies at night for stargazing. (We saw great Perseid Meteors!)
The children were never bored and stayed off the electronics !
Also highly recommend it for its great location that allows for day outings galore! (See their list of things to do)
