The hosts Mike and Cecilia were the warmest and the most welcoming people, from the time we arrived to the time we left. The room was just as cozy as being at home and was complimented with the soft sound of Lake Huron just outside your window. Very nice bathroom with plenty of space attached to our room and enjoyed being pampered with good fluffy bath towels. Cecilia loves to cook and it shows each morning as she serves up a great tasting breakfast each morning. If you don't stop into Sweetwater Sea for a stay, you are the one to miss out. Totally relaxing, fully enjoyable, thank you Mike and Cecilia for sharing your lovely place with us.

Put this place on your list! It is one of the newest B&B’s in the Osconda, Alpena, Greenbush, MI areas. It has all the charm of a quaint, quiet, getaway. The owners are very very very kind. The website is helpful to find out what’s in the community. They provide breakfast, which is amazing. The view of Lake Huron is great. You can spend hours on the beach without seeing anyone. The owners let me borrow their water proof phone case when we took a canoe ride and gave us great recommendations for activities, dinner, breakfast. The fire pit is great, the rooms are perfect and cozy with all amenities that you may need. We will return and hopefully we will bring our family and friends. This has been one of the best B&B’s I have been too.

We stayed in the Michigan bedroom. I love the decor, it is absolutely beautiful. Our room was facing the lake so we could watch and listen to the calming waves. Very peaceful and we slept good!! Cecilia and Mike are very welcoming and she made us a delicious breakfast and smoothie. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend.

What a great place to stay. We wish we would have had more time to spend there. The location on the Lake Huron was perfect. The view was outstanding. The room we were in was very clean and comfortable. The community rooms both have great views of the lake. The stone desk is amazing. We could have spent the whole trip there. The breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Loved the coffee and tea that was offered before breakfast as we relaxed in the community room. The owners are very accommodating and make you feel like family. This will definitely be on our Bed and Breakfast list to stay in the future.

Cecilia and Mike have created the perfect getaway in Sweetwater Sea. This purpose built B&B is ideal for a couples or family stay with all the amenities you would want. But the best part is the view and sound of Lake Huron right outside your room and the ability to walk the beach for miles.
P.S. The breakfast was pretty awesome too.

We stayed for two nights while attending a family wedding. We highly recommend this lovely B&B. The rooms are very comfortable and each has a private bathroom which is not always the case at B&B's. The common areas are spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and creative. The owners are delightful and very welcoming. And all the while Lake Huron sooths you with the sound of waves.

Thank you to Cecilia and Mike for giving our family the best summer vacation. The accommodations are beyond beautiful that include spectacular water and beach views. Sitting on the patio is akin to being at a 5-star villa! The daily breakfast was such a treat that was enjoyed by both children and adults! We'll be back next year!

Enjoyed a wonderful quick stay for a local wedding! Thank you, Cecelia, for graciously working with my schedule. It was so nice having the comfort and safety of home since I was traveling solo. The location on the beach is priceless, along with the view, the firepit, my room (Michigan), the breakfast and hospitality. Everything was spectacular and look forward to another stay.

Amazing view of Lake Huron. Beautiful home. Bedroom was comfortable, well thought out. Breakfast always featured a yummy baked good, which were fantastic. Hosts were so welcoming and knowledgeable about what there was to do and where to go to get the best [whatever you’re looking for].

The view is just amazing. The beach is beautiful! Just what we needed. The host was very understanding of our needs this weekend and we’re so accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding each morning. The stuffed French Toast….Wow. Can’t wait for another visit.
