We had our honeymoon here at the Bay Chalet. It was very nice and quiet. We had breakfast in bed everyday, with a view of the lake. We had boats and nearby woods to go to. And it was fairly close to the grocery store and other activities in the area. I wish we had brought our bikes though. Had... More

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and allowed us to be part of your honeymoon! Wish we had known that you wanted to go biking-as there is a place that will deliver bikes to the property for you to use. The area is a wonderful place to bike. Something to do in the future. Thank you for... More

We just spent the weekend here, a nice getaway after the hectic week of Thanksgiving. We stayed in the Bay Chalet, which included a bedroom, sitting room, hot tub and sauna. The accommodations were great and we loved the cozy setting. Dave, the caretaker was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. We had purchased a package that... More

We stayed at Lake 'N Pines Lodge in October, while enjoying the fall colors and fresh air that Michigan is known for. We enjoyed roomy living space, including a kitchen and sitting room, and our bedroom was also cozy, with a little electric 'fireplace' that kept us toasty warm on the cooler evenings. The caretaker, Dave, was really nice and... More

We stayed in the Vineyard Suite. The weekend we came, Melanie was out of town so David didn't book out all the rooms - for obvious reasons. He gave us the option of the Vineyard or another suite that originally costed more, but for the same price. We ended up sticking with the Vineyard but was such a sweet gesture.... More

Very beautiful place to unwind and relax. My husband and I really enjoy our stay at Lake n Pines Lodge. We were fifteen minutes from downtown Traverse City, twenty-five minutes from Sleeping Bear, and very close to many of Traverse city vineyards. Dave and Melanie made our 10th anniversary a time to remember. The package we had included dinner, massages,... More

Our room was lovely. The bed and breakfast is a great spot, a beautiful setting. We loved kayaking on the lake and hearing the loons. Dave was a helpful, friendly gracious host. It was nice to be near Interlochen but also not far frm Traverse City.

I'd highly recommend Lake N' Pines for anyone looking for a relaxing get-away. My boyfriend and I stayed here as a mini-trip before I started law school again and we were very impressed. The property and room was beautiful (the pictures didn't do them justice) and the breakfast was delicious each morning. We loved the complimentary use of fishing equipment,... More

We stayed at the Bay Chalet for a week. I was expecting an individual cabin, but it was the top floor of a home, which worked fine. The place was very nice - hot tub, sauna, fireplace, lots of space, nice views, etc. We took advantage of the free canoes and kayaks and went out on the lake several times.... More

We spent two nights in Bay Chalet Suite and three nights in Angler's Nook. The former was quite spacious, but since we were on the go much of the time, the Angler's Nook was just the right size for us. Dave even moved our luggage for us. Both were air conditioned with ceiling fans. Very quiet and peaceful setting on... More
