I chose the Kalamazoo House B&B to visit on a solo trip because of the central location and the responsive staff. It was perfect; the location was walking distance to everything I wanted to see and do: brewery tours, fine dining, coffee houses, shopping, and was walking distance from the train station where I arrived via Amtrak. the house is...

My husband and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary by planning an "Under the Radar Michigan" weekend. UTR is a show on PBS that celebrates places and things in Michigan that are cool and different to discover. The Kalamazoo House was mentioned in the book, otherwise we would never have know about this quaint B&B. From the moment we arrived...

We felt very welcome at the Kalamazoo House, while our hosts never intruded on our privacy. The history of the House's ups and downs is very interesting. It was easy to imagine it in its Victorian heyday during a candle-lit soiree in full period dress. The breakfast was tasty and well-presented. Altogether a delightful overnight.

Terrific B&B - Steve was brilliant, the breakfasts were amazing (and there were different choices every day), there was tea and great coffee whenever I felt like it, and comfortable bed. And an iPad to borrow, with the New York Times app... Oh and it's a five minute walk from downtown shops and literally next door to the arts centre...

We have stayed in A LOT of B&Bs. This one is incredible!!! The self check in is fabulous! No one is waiting for you and the pressure of being late is removed. You still interact with the inn keepers, so that part of the experience is not lost. The attention to detail is perfected. Fresh flowers are everywhere. There are...

The B&B is a beautifully restored and maintained property with the normal amenities of parking, en suite bathrooms, complimentary coffee & tea, lovely home cooked breakfasts, free WiFI, cable TV, etc. What sets this...

Such a great bed and breakfast! The atmosphere is so warm, cozy and friendly. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and included everything that was needed and more. Great extras were the gas fireplace, luxury robes, the best sheets ever and cookies before bed! A coffee station was just outside the room with coffee available anytime. Breakfast was delicious and...

The Kalamazoo B&B was an excellent place to stay. The owners were very welcoming and kind, the house is beautiful, the amenities were fantastic, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. It was walking distance to Bell's and the Kalamazoo State House, so was a perfect location for our visit.

We had a wonderful visit to Kalamazoo and our stay at Kalamazoo house was perfect. The food, the room and the staff...all top notch. The cookies at night are a nice touch. The sheets alone are worth going back for!! We will be back.

Great stay in a beautiful building. The host and staff were wonderful! The B&B is within walking distance to the nicest part of Kalamazoo and close to campus. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the food was great. We spent some downtime in the parlour playing a variety of board games while waiting for our son to get out of...
