I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It has changed a lot. The twirling staircase to the second floor is gone. The places we sat on the couches and looked over the side into the lobby is gone. The area of the lobby with the big comfortable chairs and couches and TV is gone. I'm too nostalgic.... More

The room walls are solid, making the rooms quiet, and the mattress feels broken in. Front desk administration seems a little wishy washy saying that breakfast was available anytime 7/24. Hmmmmm Flat screen TVS in clean rooms. Rooms freshly painted and bathrooms are small.

We stayed at the Clarion Hotel from July 21 to July 23, 2016. We had a wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. The staff was very friendly. It is well worth the money. I left my camera by the pool and the staff found it and turned it in to the front desk. It is nice to have a hotel that... More

The hotel needs to be updated. The clerk on duty realized this and upgraded our room, no extra charge. She did the same for the other members of our family, as well. The rooms were stuffy and the furnishings were very basic run of the mill - nothing extravagant. I didn't want to walk on carpet without shoes. The sofa... More

Came to this hotel after my nightmare experience at Red roof east. Very accommodating. Third floor has no pets. Have come to the conclusion that hotels in this section have all been remodeled due to age. Room was pleasant. Bathroom could use some more updating the include higher toilet.

Came to Kalamazoo to go to the Kalamazoo Growlers baseball game and stayed at the Clarion on Cork street. The price was right, $79.00 a night. The room was clean, however we never received service on Friday after we left for the day. No new towels or the beds made. That was even after we saw the housekeeping staff when... More

My husband and I checked in on 6/29/16. We had confirmed reservations. The first room to which we were assigned smelled strongly of smoke; and this is a non smoking hotel. The second room to which were assigned was on the first floor, behind the front desk, and across from the ice machine and the washer and dryer. We soon... More

We arrived with a bus load of ball players, all the rooms were ready and clean. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking for the bus, across the street. Wifi worked great, and hotel breakfast was good.

We stayed in a block of rooms reserved for a family wedding, and the hotel was a big disappointment. The rooms were extremely dirty, including the sheets. The air conditioner could not keep up with the outside temperature (it was around 80), so our room was about 90 degrees. The maintenance guy came in and said basically there was nothing... More
