The food at the restaurant was delicious and prices were slightly high but not too bad. Wait staff and guest services were very friendly.
Cons: The pace of play was very disappointing. 5 hours at The Fountains course and 5.5 hours at the Monarch course.
No ball washers anywhere, which we found crazy. Rooms were clean at first but very outdated. Over the 3 nights housekeeping dropped off new towels but never cleaned our room. Walking our clubs from the room down to the pro shop everyday was annoying. They would not allow us to drive cart to the room to get our clubs even though our room was right beside the practice green.
There was no nightly entertainment. When tiki bar is closed there wasnt anything going on.
We asked if we could play some cards, but they said the only place with a table was in a room that costed $130 to rent.

The rooms were clean but outdated. They smelled musty and the sink in the bathroom was always backed up!
This year our experience was less than enjoyable (other than the golf) ...staff was short and rude, in addition the management apparently deciding to eliminate offering appetizers to the golfers after playing a round of golf... other than a bag of chips. We have easily spent over $40,000.00 between green fees and drinks/food over the last 25 years. It baffles me that a decision was made to not serve casual food/appetizers to paying guests (the answer was they don't do that a buffet night btw) but there were 3 buffet nights in a row. How hard can it be to offer a cheese plate, wings or potato skins?.... It actually had us considering changing the venue after this length of time supporting the place.
summary; 1. Not a good decision on the food service front
2. Have the staff not be so ornery and grumpy
It's a resort, and we go there to enjoy food, drink and service.
Negatives? Wi Fi weak in the golf cottage and cups not changed for several days on the courses.

Only issue was bunkers weren’t raked, otherwise in prestige condition.
Breakfast was amazing. Nice patio for our large group of 16 for dinner meals.
Lodging was great, along with large outdoor saltwater pool, corn hole and Firepit. Also indoor pool and fitness centre available.
Definitely will return.
Next to no cell service, which was okay.
