Well it would be redundant to say at this point that the park is spectacular with amazing views. We camped here for two nights on Beechwood campground. Campground is very spacious and very private, clean bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The customer service...More

We camped at the beechwood campground and it was perfect. We were right next to lost lake and Hamlin lake. We floated and swam all day. You can rent kayaks and tubes. The sand dunes are amazing. I would recommend bringing the whole family!

This was a really nice park and not too crowded. A ride in tubes on the lake looked like great relaxing fun but we were not able to partake as we had a dog with us. Great easy trails to hike with pet and places...More

My family and I had a wonderful time camping for the first time at Ludington State Park. The camp grounds them selves vary from site to site but generally offer the same amenities; power for RVs and Campers, showers and bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire...More

YES, bring you own rafts, tubes, kayaks and such. Items can also be rented at the camp store.

From what I recall the Lake Michigan beech access had signs about no pets, but maybe the Hamlin Lake access is different. Lots of people had pets at the camp ground when I went, so I'm sure there is something for the pets.
