Bay View is not a B&B - it's a treasure chest full of jewels. The location is near perfect. A hint - the Arnold Ferry is closest to the Bay View. The views are outstanding. And, while much has been made of the nostalgic "clop-clop", if you crack your windows you can hear the bugler at the fort before you... More

Felt at home from the second we walked in. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly! Great attention to detail. Wonderful ambiance. Nice room with a beautiful view. Loved the breakfast, mid day cookies, but missed the dessert. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

We stayed at this lovely Bed & Breakfast with friends. We have stayed at a few B&B's over the years. This one tops the list! The service was excellent, the food was wonderful. They even served an evening dessert They brought it to us, whether we were out on the front porch, or sitting out back overlooking the bay. And... More

This is my second visit to the Bay View. Good Luck finding somewhere more welcoming and inviting and caring! You need to remember that this is an OLD HOUSE that was built in 1891. The rooms are SMALL. Be ready to deal with that. But you are not coming to Mackinac Island to stay in your room, so get over... More

We had such a delightful time, and will certainly be back to visit you at Bay View. The accommodations are lovely - the porch a true delight. Our breakfasts and deserts were delicious, and I think we ate more than our share of cookies. With all of that being said, I want to share the best part of our stay... More

We enjoyed our stay. The room was quite small and had no closet. But our view was amazing. I loved the location. A short walk to Main St but away from the crowds. We arrived about noon before check in time but were welcomed to leave our bags and get a cup of coffee and a muffin on the porch.... More

From front desk, Barb, who gave us detailed directions, boat recommendations, and a great walk-in rate, to the entire staff, everyone was excellent. Hot full breakfast, cookies, dessert, and complimentary drinks all day. Beautiful Victorian rooms were cozy, not large, but plenty for two lovebirds! Clean, sweet, and unique. The staff are the kindest most genuine people you'd like to... More

The Bay View Inn is darling from the outside and in a great location right on the water on the edge of town. Breakfasts were pretty good, great coffee, and we enjoyed the cookies and lemonade in the afternoon on the side porch. However, as a few other posters mentioned, the interior of the property is quite shabby and dirty.... More

We had suite. Clean room but not comfortable for family. Sofa bed horrible and king bed had ancient, lumpy pillows. Not good. Food and waitstaff in dining area were fabulous. Views of harbor are good. Easy access to town and Mission Point. We had no interaction with management. Housekeeping didn't get to our room until 3pm....it was a bit awkward... More

My husband and I stayed here with our 10-year old daughter. We shared a small room with a queen bed and a twin bed. One window looked out onto the water. It was perfect for us. The weather was lovely, so we often sat on the back sun deck and front porch. The breakfasts, afternoon cookies, and evening desserts were... More
