Our family (2 adults, children ages 6 and 9) went to Mackinaw Island in June 2016 and had a wonderful stay at Bogan Lane Inn. The Porch room worked well for us and Trish and Alice were very helpful in making recommendations about what to see on Mackinaw Island. Breakfast was delicious and our stay could not have been more...

I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. We received a warm welcome from Trish and her mom. They made us feel right at home. I was a little nervous when I found out that we'd be sharing a bathroom with another room, but we had no...

Last minute decision to visit the island left us searching for a place. This B&B had a vacancy and is in a great location....off the noisy Main Street but close enough to walk to docks and restaurants. House is from 1800s and accommodations are okay. Things could be spruced up a bit, a little cluttered, a little musty, needs a...

A friend and I booked two nights at the Bogan Lane Inn after our first two choices for a B&B were filled. We chose Bogan Lane because it was inexpensive and the room had two beds (a double and a twin). The shared bath worked just fine for us. The inn itself is situated directly across from the big brown...

Celebrating a milestone birthday, I wanted to do something special. A girlfriend and I decided to stay on the island (my first time). Since it was a spur of the moment thing,we were fortunate to find a room at all! This B&B was absolutely wonderful, everything I had hoped for and more! So quaint and comfortable. Very near town but...

A small and inexpensive B & B, homely and old worldly. The breakfast's are healthy and consist of home made scones and various breads not usually seen at breakfast tables. These are accompanied by home made jams and marmalade, Apple butter and honey cream cheese, also there was fresh fruit on the table. We stayed 4 nights and woke rested...

I've already reviewed this B&B once but as I stayed again and found some update I decided to review again. First of they now have WiFi!!!!! This is the only place I've stayed on the island. It is further down main street past the harbor which is nice because it also makes it quiet. After being around a bunch of...

This is the second year here for kids and myself. We had the Porch Room, which is really more like 2 rooms, 2 parts, each with 2 single beds. It was perfect for us, I had my own room, as the kids sat I snore. This room has a lot of windows in both sections, so it was a beautiful...

The title pretty much says it all. Trish, the proprietor, cooks up a delicious & nutritious breakfast of food, history, recommendations and current events at her families life long home and B&B. They offer a variety of accommodations for a single person to a medium size group. Not once did we feel as though we were invading anyone's privacy, nor...

We've stayed at Bogan Lane Inn four times and wanted to stay more but sometimes it's hard to get an available room. We love Trish and Mama. They're are more like family than hosts. Trish can give you all sorts of info about the island especially unusual things and places you might otherwise miss. And the food is soooo good....
