Me and my partner stayed for (unfortunately only) one night at the tree top camp. There are only 4 rooms and all have an open front that faces onto the waterhole in a way that you can't be seen by any of the other rooms or the dining room/lounge/deck. The rooms themselves have a very comfy large bed, a great...

We spend 2 nights at Onguma Treetop Camp at the end of April 2017 with very much mixed experiences. The accommodation and the staff there was fantastic with an exceptional experience on the accommodation and food and support from the camp staff where they really made life very enjoyable for us. They were unfortunately severely let down by the so-called...

Dear Roelof, I am sorry to hear that these guides disappointed you and let their colleagues down. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Your activities will be refunded and re training will be done with the relevant guides. Yours Sincerely, Fritz Vorster

Such a wonderful place to stay! The tree top tent are very well decorated and the exterior shower is well designed (meaning you can watch nature and other guest don't see you). The spirit of the camp is like a family place so all guest enjoy a diner at the same table while the chief is cooking just next to...

We have visited Onguma now for the third time and chose Treetop Camp this time. The staff were well trained, friendly and we spent a joyful evening. As local Namibians we were treated with Eland steak and traditional "pap". The other couple from Switzerland joined the laughter and conversation. It would be very nice if Namibians would be considered for lower...

Recommended by friends we visited the Onguma Treetop Camp. Tried to go there last year too but it was fully booked. We enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing rooms with the open view the waterhole as much as we enjoyed the excellent food and the animals living in Onguma. It is a very small and private place....perfect for a romantic stay.

You will be well looked after when you stay here. A small ' boutique bush tent ' type of accommodation. We enjoyed our evening dinners which are served at one large table for 8 guests at set times. The food is very good, especially the desserts. You could tell desserts were the chef's passion. Large wine selection. We were less...

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your Tree Top Camp experiences with us. We are so pleased to know that the food... and especially the deserts... made a good impression! However, your comments about the guide is not quite as pleasant to hear. We appreciate you letting us know about this and will certainly look into...

We spent only one night here --probably needed more in order to really experience the water hole. Because we were out on safari until almost dark, we barely had time to sit out on the deck with fire and glass of wine when we were called to dinner. The next AM we safari again and left VERY early . There...

Onguma Treetop Camp was for me one of the highlights of our stay in Namibia. It is quite small and built on stilts. The views over the watering hole are magnificent. Rooms can be as open or as closed to the bush as you like as you can zip down an outside tent wall. The bathroom area was well equipped...

What a wonderful place! I loved the whole ethos of the tents which one could leave open to the sights and sounds of Africa. I also enjoyed the open kitchen where we could sit and watch the chef prepare and cook our meals. I would have loved to stay longer.

There are only four "rooms" at Onguma Treetop Camp. This lets you expect some privacy which you unfortunately not really get, although you have the possibility for a private look on the waterhole. The rooms are very small. Service, cleanness etc. are not adequate. NO WIFI at all although offered. All guests are dining together at one table. That's ok,....

Dear CH, Thank you for taking the time to review our camp, however I am so disappointed to hear that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. Tree Top is a rustic, out-there-in-the-bush type of tented camp. Perhaps a better choice for you would have been our Tented Camp or The Fort. I trust this didn't spoil your...
