The Onguma Bush Camp is a very well run place with friendly and competent staff. The food is very good as the service. The lounge is very relaxing. The only reason we don't give an excellent rating are the room. For the price a would expect a little bit more, not in terms of comfort, but a little bit more...

Great location with easy access to Etosha safari trips. Rooms are spacious and clean. The main lodge and bar area is an excellent place to relax and have a drink after a day in Etosha. The grounds are beautiful and I'd often awake to see giraffes or antelope outside my cabin's door! Food is exceptional and service is good as...

Situated about 9 k's from the Von Lindequist Gate we found Onguma Bush Camp to be a great alternative to NWR's Namutoni Camp. We so enjoyed our stay over the Christmas period that, in future, this will be our accommodation of choice when visiting this side of Etosha. The service was top class and a special mention should go to...

Had a great 3 day/2 night stay at Onguma Bush Camp in early December 2015. The grounds were very lush, room was spacious and clean, the pool was wonderful, and the main lodge/restaurant was an wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the wildlife at the pond. The warthogs that help 'mow' the grass were rather comical as well. Room had...

Arrived early afternoon to be told all the bookings for the safari trips were fully booked - sundowner, night & early morning - disappointing but never mind. Spent the afternoon next to the pool where a warthog lived & ran past often! The bedroom was lovely, close to the pool, restaurant & bar & in the evenings, the paths were...

I am sorry to hear you couldn't join the Onguma drives, during high season it is highly recommended to pre-book your drives. However - I am please our warthogs kept you company!

The communal areas, pool and waterhole are lovely. We enjoyed relaxing and watching the elephant, impala and giraffes come in to drink. We stayed in one of the rondavels. OK, so they are the cheapest accommodation Onguma provides, other than camping, but for the price we expected something a bit less basic. Our rondavel was in need of a refurb,...

Compared with other places where we stayed Onguma was a bit of a disappointment. There's nothing I can put my finger on but the wow factor was definitely missing. The room was quite small, although very clean. I asked for the code to use the Wi-fi but neither of the numbers I was given worked.

This is a stunning place. The rooms are spacious, cool and well designed. The staff are amongst the best I've ever met, and the swimming pool borders a watering hole...as I was cooling off, zebras were drinking just across the fence, a truly wonderful experience. The night sky was truly awesome. I fully intend to visit here again and stay...

We really loved it here. We were very apprehensive as it was the only vacancy we could find in the area and the description of it made us think it wouldn't be any good. How wrong we were!!! Right from our arrival through to our departure everything was wonderful. We were greeted with a drink and cold towels. Our cottage...

Onguma is located right outside the east gate of Etosha national park. We stayed at the bush camp. Rooms are quite small, have thatched roofs, and provide air conditioning. The bathroom shower had a clogged drain and backed up creating a foot bath. Dinner was a set menu. Appetizer: spring roll, entree: hake fish, dessert: chocolate mousse. We visited the...
