A hotel can choose it's location and how it is built. But to choose the right people to work in the hotel is also a matter of luck. Which we had here. We were a group of 5 cars, but one broke down and had to be replaced which took longer than expected. To enter Etosha is possible only until...

The hotel is lost in Etosha. Only 16 rooms. The staff is friendly, I was thinking that it can't exist in NWR resort and welcoming. The room is great but not air conditioning or fan. Dinner and breakfast are correct. This is hotel is a bit overrated 200€ for 2.

Last night in Etosha and we spent it here, not the best place to try and do an afternoon game drive, best for just an afternoon chilling. We did manage to do a drive but it was so hot that we didn't see very much (as you'd expect) and we were not able to book an evening or morning drive...

If you want total peace & quiet with nothing to do except look out across the clay pan of Etosha then this is the ideal place. Unfortunately for us we thought that there would be animals to see & more to do here. On top of this it was very hot over 35 degrees with no AC or fridge for...

Clean and adequate, basic accomodation . They seems to struggle with limited power source or internet connections ie No air conditioning ( so maybe not advised in summer top heats) no hair driers or kettles in rooms etc Go prepared to relax , take reading material- its worth a visit though to be right on the edge if the pan...

Having read a number of negative reviews about this lodge, I was slightly worried about what to expect from our stay here. We really needn't have worried at all. Compared to other NWR lodges within Etosha, other than the Dolomite Camp, this lodge is up there with the best Etosha has to offer. It doesn't compete entirely with lodges outside...

The view of the pan is an unforgettable experience and a must see for every tourist who is travelling in Etosha. The accommodation was very nice and clean. The staff was unfriendly, not welcoming and we didn't feel looked after - which was a pity - they could do better!

We stayed in the honeymoon chalet which was the furthest away from the restaurant area so gave you a little more privacy. The accommodation was lovely, very spacious with a fab veranda which wrapped around the chalet and was perfect for sunset drinks across the Etosha pan. The outdoor shower was a plus. The restaurant whilst lacking a bit of atmosphere...

The stilted tents are terrific, as is the view overlooking the Etosha pan. It is a pity that they cannot get their act together to offer a decent experience to go with the view and the cost. The food was ok, but very disorganised and slow. The well cooked Oryx steak main dish arrived after an hour, and after we...

We spent two nights here with our teenage children, renting two adjacent chalets. Boy, do we wish we had booked to stay for longer because this was one of the most unique and unforgettable places we have ever visited. With all the chalets and communal facilities raised above the ground on stilts, and the dramatic backdrop of the salt pan,...
