We arrived after a full days drive through Etosha and immediately relaxed. The Outpost is beautifully maintained and furnished and staff came out to welcome us as we parked the car. Check in was fast and efficient and we were shown the bar, dining and lounge areas which are lovely. Our room was quite near the pool and basically was... More

I spent 1 night here, and it was fantastic. The 'tents' (which are more like huge cabins with canvas roofs) are absolutely gorgeous. Very comfortable, plus they have AC. Wifi works fairly well (albeit slowly). Food was good too. Staff was friendly as well. I also spent a night at their sister property just down the road (Bush Camp). I... More

We arrived at Mushara at lunch time and after decanting our luggage into the very spacious room we had lunch. This was a very civilised affair sitting outside on the deck of the main restaurant. We then went back to the room to explore. It had two showers, one inside and one outside, a huge bed and plenty of chairs... More

The lodgings are about 10km outside etosha, so very handy, we went on a morning and an evening drive. The food was excellent, the best we had in Namibia, the chef is very good. It's a very intimate camp, which makes it peaceful, dik diks and warthogs wander around! And most importantly the rooms have air conditioning!!!!!

What a differnce to the dessert lodges. All is green the tents are hudge and the main building gives you the feeling to be back to the colonial times. The view from the tentes is not so great compared to the other lodges we have seen so far. But the pool is very nice and so is the lounge with... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mushara Outpost. The main building is lovely, the "tent" was luxurious and comfortable and the food was fine. We did a game drive with Petrius and he was terrific, there were only four of us in the vehicle and he couldn't have been more pleasant and informative. Was perfectly willing to just stay at... We stayed here for just one night before our drive through Etosha. Our chalet was big and comfortable with air conditioning. Was nice to have a decent sized swimming pool and to be served drinks at the poolside. Evening dinner was very good and nicely presented. All in all, a lovely place and wished we'd stayed here another night. Good... More

Very comfortable tents and excellent food. The menu is written on a board near reception and you can always ask for any changes if there would be something you don't like. Upon arrival we went for the bush walk with Petrus which was a special experience to us since we've never been on foot in the bush. We drove into... More

Our stay at Mushara Outpost was an unforgettable experience. The luxurious central lodge was tasteful and elegant and so welcoming. The bedrooms were beautiful, with a choice of indoor or outdoor shower and the comfiest bed you have ever slept in. Our drives here were outstanding. We went out with Petrus, who was so knowledgable and passionate about the animals... More
