We stayed at the Halali campsite for 2 nights (plus 1 night at Okaukeujo campsite). I would strongly suggest one to stay at Okaukuejo instead of Halali. It feels that each site is under different management, and Halali was significantly worse. 1. Very poor customer service at Halali. The lady in charge at the desk was very rude and unprofessional....

Booked a bush chalet for 4 of us. When we checked in, staff were short and really unfriendly. Upon reaching our chalet, we realized that we had no outside chairs nor table. We returned to reception to ask & were told "tough, if you have chairs, lucky you, if not, too bad". Utter disgrace!!! Other guests experienced the same issue...

We stayed in adjoining chalets types. Our guide did the check-in so we can't comment on that. Room were clean but my towel was damp. Everything else worked in the room except the kettle's cord was too short and we had to boil water on the floor. Breakfast and dinner was ok, grilled game meat during dinner was a treat.

We stayed 5 nights at the campsite. First downside: you have to leave a table/washing line behind if you leave for the day, as the campsite doesn't assign you a space. The bathrooms were cleaned every day, big plus! Especially compared to the bathrooms of the other camps in Etosha, ours were great. Warm water as well. The site has...

We stayed at the Halali campsite for two nights, they had great location as well as very good bathrooms and amenities. There was hot water for showers. Each campsite had an electrical outlet. You can book game drives from here.

We stayed at Halali as part of our eight day visit to Etosha. Our experience of Halali compared to the other camps were (i). good central location to visit both the north and south (we covered the Namutoni area by staying at Halali) (ii). great service & friendly staff (best in Etosha). Few minor elements were rectified quickly; believe this...

The place has everything to offer to anyone from camping to a straightforward 2 or 3 star hostel. This place also offer nice and simple breakfast. There is a waterhole nearby that would offer one an opportunity to see animals for only a few minutes walk. I was really lucky to see Rhino in the late afternoon and again at...

There is a nice place with a great wildlife arround. If you are lucky, you can see close some rhino together with antilopes, zebras, ostrich, giraffes, etc. I don't recomand you to take game drive from them, you can do same with your own car, on same roads. Regarding the hotel, it is not so nice. Not very clean. The...

Terrible place. Incredibly outdated old and falling apart. Absolutely no character! Felt more like a boarding school trip. You have to pay 230 dollars for dinner and still queue for it. The one point given is for the fact that the A/C worked.

The huts are basic, but they have mosquito net over the bed. Some of them are farther from the reception, bring your flashlight. The woman at the reception was rude when we asked another bath towel. Th breakfast is very good, fruits, eggs, yogurts, breads, etc.
