We camped here. Admin told us to camp where we wanted, which led to anarchy in the camps site, with people returning in the evening rudely telling new arrivals to move from their 'spot' & noisy young groups in the middle of the campsite. I asked one group to turn their music down at 10pm & they did. Otherwise great...

Stayed in a double room that was basic and clean. Air conditioner situated over the bed didn't make sense but cooled the room and froze the bed very efficiently:-) Food was satisfying through a buffet service but staff may be hard of hearing given that they communicate with each other by way of continuous loud shouting .... still the flood...

Firstly this is not a luxury lodge, it's a campsite with a pool and rooms. It's in the middle of a national park though are run by a park agency so really it's not going to be a five star place. The rooms have air conditioning and are OK, fridge and good hot shower comfy beds and mosquito nets. No...

We stayed one night in Halali as a part of our Etosha tour. The room was clean and really nice. There was a fridge, an aircon, a huge mosquito net on top of the bed (best one I've ever seen on my travels) and a huge and extremely comfy bed. After a long day at the safari, the room had...

Stayed one night. Crowded, poor restaurant, acommodation average. Only saving grace is the waterhole and the useful Post Office. We much preferred our previous nights stay at Etosha Safari Lodge. It was worth the extra cost.

Stayed 1 night in a "family chalet". The hut was rough and pretty run down. For dinner the meat was pretty good, but the rest not. Everything in the restaurant appeared to be completely disorganized. Not enough chairs, not enough forks and knives. The place must be in desperate need of management. The flood lit waterhole was nice, but not...

We spent 3 weeks travelling through Namibia and this was by far the worst campsite of our whole trip. Not only was the campsite a barren dessert but the the staff also wins a price for unfriendliness. Adding to that there were numerous leaking taps, which in a country that barely has any water is simply not acceptable. The only...

Unlike Okaukeujo where the watehole is directly in front of the chalets the waterhole here is a 15 minute walk away with a uneven slighlty hilly path to the viewing area. A lot quieter & smaller waterhole too. We were lucky enough to see 2 white rhino on our first viewing. The chalets here are larger than Okaukeujo with lounge...

Although we could get everything at Halali, the camp sites were a bit disappointing. Personally I think, with a bit of effort, they could make Halali's Campsite so much nicer and not so on top of each other! The ablution blocks were clean and all the sites had electricity and some sites water.

We stayed two nights in this NWR-operated camp. The facilities are great (nowhere else have i seen rain showers in public bathrooms...) and clean. My only remark would be that the campsites are all pretty close to one another so there isn't very much privacy. Other than that I cannot fault it. Make sure to visit the waterhole at night,...
