Beyond stunning views of the canyon and of Quiver trees, which added to the magic. Rooms are perched right over the canyon and sensitively erected to be private. There is both an indoor and outdoor shower although best to use the outdoor one during midday before the wind comes up. Many of the rooms were quite a walk from the...

A score of excellent would have been given were it not for the state of the access road. The facilities are excellent, and the location on the edge of the canyon rim is extraordinary. The staff are very professional and helpful.

The lodge and the cabins are moderned styled, but fitting perfect into the environment of the canyon area. The rooms have enough space, big bathrooms with outdoor shower and and a dedicated area for yoga outside. The food was good and the staff very friendly. The infinity pool is incredible with the view. Its a place just to sit down...

Best of all the lodges around the Canyon for service and views. Well worth the walks round the Canyon rim too and don't miss out on the road trip into the bottom of the canyon. Absolutely spectacular in every way.

Amazing place to stay and to explore the canion; the setting is breathtaking and the staff really nice and helpful. We did the 2 nights camping and trecking in the cannion and the campsites are soooo nice!!! All comodities to sleep in a camp! It is really worth it though you need to be fit for the 15km daily hikes.

We had an amazing time at Fish River Lodge. Without a doubt the best view we have ever had when looking out of our room. The accommodation was amazing with a huge bathroom and great hot showers. I do not know how they serve such fantastic food in such an isolated location. It was cold at night when we were...

Coming to this accommodation is already very special, over a unpaved road. It makes you feel you are really in the middle of the nature and then the view from the room! This is really an amazing view over an amazing canyon, so big. The breakfast and dinner are also very well.

Amazing place amazing view amazing people amazing food. Not much more to say - don't miss it. It's a little far from the main roads but it definitely is worth the detour. One day is enough if you arrive early but taking two nights will provide you with relaxing time.

My wife and I were blessed with the opportunity to travel throughout Namibia on an exquisite and breathtaking private safari. Stopping at the Fish River Lodge on the third and forth day we are still in awe by the outstanding scenery of this part of the world. The in-canyon drive is a must as it will reveal so much about...
