Ian (owner/manager) was extremely helpful in many ways with advice and suggestions for us first timers. Place is clean and good bed linens. Breakfast was very good and there is a nice pool - though chilly in late May. Convenient for touting the area - minutes from the big swing though we were given safety warnings about that.

We stayed at Daans place. Great bed. Unit cleaned daily. Soft pillows. Daans place is very centrally located. Must eat pancakes at Harries. We toured Graskop, Hazyview and we went to the Kruger national park via the Phabeni gate. We went to Lisbon falls and Mac Mac pools.

The bed and linen were absolutely luxurious and comfier than our own at home, with even an electric blanket should we need it (which we certainly...

Looking for a stopover - arriving from Cullinan and aiming to drive the Panoramic Route the following day - we chose Daan's Place over other accommodation that admittedly promised more exclusive views. Our reasoning being that we are going to view the scenery anyway while driving and only needed a place to sleep, one that's in town close to restaurants,...
