We stayed at Valley View over the Easter weekend. The place is beautifully situated in a quiet area of Graskop. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Joseph one of the staff members looked at my car recommended a place to fix the problem. This is going out of their way to help us!! Very highly recommended!!!

We were in the small cottage next to office with private kitchen/bathroom. The ceiling contains fungi. The matras was moisty. Not clean. A bit of cleaning, new paint and renewal of bed equipment is required.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Joseph (the owner) who showed us around, introduced us various trips we can do, made lots of helpful suggestions! The place is basic but very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the self-catering cottage and we had such a nice time staying at the backpackers. Whenever we wanted to socialise we went to...

In General ok for the money. But there is only one bath for around 15-25 people. Toilet paper was missing in the nights or in the mornings. If you do not expect to much it is good for a short stay. The kitchen and the common area outside is nice and well equipped. It is a bit outside of the...

We enjoyed our time in valley view, the staff is very very nice and helpful and the place well located. The only think that wasent enough was the level of cleaning. The rooms need renovation and new beddings. If the place will change that i think the guests will have much better time in the backpackers.

It's backpackers style, appropriate to go with a group of friends. The staff is really nice and helpful. Very clean property and right into the nature, great view to the mountains. There's internet but you have to pay and the signal isn't perfect. Although is a very cold area, but no heater in many rooms.

We stay here 3 nights in dormitory. The room have own toilette and shower. You have also a kitchen, other toilets and showers. Some books are there, that can give idea for hiking or everything. All is clean, but the dormitory is a bit humid and cold. But you can ask for more blanquettes.

From when we arrived, Joseph was a friendly and welcoming host. We stayed in the rondavel, which has room for four to sleep (although this might be fairly cosy!), a small kitchenette, fridge and bathroom with a hot shower. These were more than enough facilities for us! It seemed fairly full when we were there, with people staying in the...

Beautiful scenic route from nelspruit - even in the clouds/fog it was clearly very pretty. Nice owner, Joseph, who keeps very much to the background. Fully equiped, everything is provided. Downside; Wifi is paid. Hostel is a bit run down (like most budget options outside big cities) but everything works!

If you like peace and quiet. This is the place to be. Nice garden, dorms and privates for a reasonable price. Good equipped kitchen. The owner is helpful and friendly. They have their own parking lot where your car is safe. In Graskop itself there is not much to do.
