I flew in Nelspruit ( 2 hour flight) from Capetown (one of the most beautiful cities ever!!) and a driver picked us up (this has to be arranged separately) and drove us 2 hours to the gate of Nkomazi- a privately owned game reserve. Once you get to the gate then one of the staff will pick you up and...

Spent Easter weekend at Nkomazi. Excellent venue; great service and the staff are well trained and all very friendly. Game drives were excellent and adventurous as times. Went to see some rock paintings.

This is a great private game reserve with the most amazing views and scenery. It looked like Scotland but with African animals. Quite Special. The 'hotel' itself was really lovely and luxurious. Rooms well spaced out along the river or higher up the hill. Food was lovely and game drives really amazing. Heinrich had such an amazing knowledge and was...

The whole experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you have to reluctantly drag yourself away from this beautiful place is fabulous. The Nkomazi reserve is home to a wide variety of Africa's finest ambassadors including the most picture perfect lions, glorious giraffes and some rather elusive elephants! The Komati tented camp offers secluded luxury with some quirky...

The hospitality and the attention to detail was great. The food was delicious and the staff was very knowledgeable and personable. Our safari time was breath taking, such great views and we got to see all of the animals that we wanted to see. It's a great place to getaway. I look forward to going again.

We stayed three nights in this beautiful tented camp and enjoyed the hospitality of the staff as much as the safari experience. Very warm and welcoming employees, wonderful luxurious tents (we didn't want to leave again), fantastic food but most of all, great guides that took us through our morning and afternoon game drives. It was impressive to see such...

Recently stayed at Nkomazi Reserve, and it surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much all the guides truly care about the animals. On the transfer from the entrance of the reserve to the lodge area, the guide drove on the side of the road at one point so that he would not crush a...

We visited Komati tented camp at Nkomazi for the weekend being only 3 hrs from Pretoria & stayed in the royal tent. It was huge with a separate 'sitting room' tent raised up on decking with its own private plunge pool. The deck was surrounded by woodland with a beautiful elevated view. The bed was so comfortable & the rooms...
