Located in main area, just near Big Temple and Railway Station and also to Old Bus stand.
Rooms are spacious, but let's not expect luxury stay, its decent.
For Thanjavur local sightseeing, this hotel is recommend for stay having the location advantage. Rooms still has the old looks and the bed spread used are all aged ones. Hope the management will is listening and will replace sooner.

The hotel is located quite close to famous Big Temple. The rooms are spacious and have bathtub. The restaurant offers both veg and non-veg. The food is tasty and (live metha paan) post meal is cheery on the cake. The property has a pool with chairs around to relax. Limited staff understands hindi.

We opted for 2 interconnected rooms which as we are family of 4. The property looks old but is still maintained pretty well. The location is opposite to a clean canal hence offers a good view too.
The food is delicious and serving it on a banana leaf make it all the more appetising :)All in all we had a comfortable stay.

By far one of the worst hotel experiences of our lives. The hotel rooms were infested with lizards and mosquitoes. We did not initially get the 'deluxe' rooms we had booked, and only managed to change to better rooms later during our stay at our own behest. WiFi was unavailable for a large portion of our stay. Rooms smelt musty and of smoke; it was suffocating. Front desk staff were uniformly unhelpful. The breakfast was not a buffet as expected but a very narrow a la carte selection; the restaurant, on the whole, was awful and we quickly learnt not to eat there after the first night when we were the only ones there. The hotel is completely unhelpful in arranging plans for travel. We gave our clothes for same day laundry but due to 'a problem with billing', the hotel refused to return our clothes the same day. All in all, it's really rather amazing this place can call itself a hotel and charge people money to stay here.

We had to change the room as the bath room tub was terrible with mold and dirty; the second room was better, but still very old bath room that needs complete renovation. The bed sheets were dirty and the towels were very old, been used a lot; we had to use our own towels! The restaurant was very expensive; no wonder very few were eating dinner there.
Hotel seems to care for only large crowd coming in buses and you don't get any attention. We couldn't use pool side for evening drinks; they said some group has booked a table, though there were other tables.

Me and my wife were on a temple tour through Tamil Nadu. We booked hotel Parisutham upon reviews by others on booking website. The hotel looks as a decent property, however the quality of service they provide for a decent amount is just not upto the mark.
No bathroom slippers and half used up toiletries to begin with. The major issue was the linen in the room.
They had just tidied up some used up bedsheets and covers with hair all upon and used pillow covers.
Upon complaining at the reception, it took more than half an hour for the housekeeping and yet they couldn't get a clean linen to put upon the bed. To our astonishment the bedsheet was also not put acroos the entire bed and was covering only a part of it just hidden by the cover. Finally they shifted us to the adjacent room after unsuccessful effort to find a clean blanket cover and pillow covers. Similar conditions exist in the room and efforts to contact the manager were unsuccessful. Finally we decided to live into it and save ourselves more agony. Just decided to post a review here before i cool down. Putting photos for reference and to guide people about the quality of service they should expect of they book here.
Also if you're booking through Agoda then be assured that no customer care service is directed to listen grievances of customers. So be cautious of Agoda too.
Thank you

I spent four very pleasant days here. The three best things about the hotel in my view are its staff, the pool and the location.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s hard to single out particular individuals but the receptionists Anbarast and Mohamed were approachable and helpful whilst the restaurant manager Mohan was always smiling and eager to please his customers.
The pool is lovely and well maintained, a welcome respite from the bustle and heat of Thanjavur.
Location couldn’t be better with easy access to the train station and within walking distance of the magnificent Brihadishwar Temple and Royal Palace. It’s also in a quiet part of town next to a wide canal with little traffic noise.
My room overlooking the pool was extremely comfortable with very clean bedlinen, tea making facilities, fridge, complimentary water etc. If I was to make any suggestion to management it would be to upgrade the bathrooms which are a little bit tired but this was a minor issue. I highly recommend the Parisutham for a comfortable stay in Thanjavur.

Hotel was Ina Avery good location, with a Canal running right in front of the hotel. Very near all the main attractions in Tanjore(all within a 2km radius). Very decently maintained with adequate staff. The swimming pool was good. The rooms were worth the money the one downside was the food which was not great and on the expensive side for the taste. Get a room overlooking the Canal for a great view.

The experience I had was horrible. No hygiene at all. The sheets, bed, towels all were dirty and smelling bad. Staff was not all professional and pleasing except the restaurant ones. Though breakfast choices were less, staff was polite and pleasing.
