I ate in the restaurant only...so only reviewing that. The restaurant is right on the beach with incredible views of the water and the sunset. This is the surfers beach so during the day I'm sure you will see surfing! The food was hohum and service slow but you want to get here for the view and the atmosphere!

This is the forth year in a row we traveled here for dinner while working in León. It is right on the ocean with fantastic views. They serve generous portions and specialize in seafood, you must order the lobster! Order your food then head out to walk along the shore, climb the rocks, gather sea shells, and watch the sunset.... This was a lovely Nicaraguan beach hotel that has the Pacific Ocean lapping right at its steps at high tide. At low tide, the beach is wide and clean. The view is incredible, but the ocean itself is quite rough and not for the faint of heart or weak swimmers. The hotel has a pool, as well, that is okay... More

Reasonable hotel for the price. The pool was pretty awful and the water was green tinged and didn't look very welcoming. Food was enormous and plentiful - I reccomend the fish / chicken fingers from the appetisers menu. So much food that 2 people had to eat it all. The service in the restaurant was really bad but hey, who... More

The hotel room itself is ok, the bathroom is old like a west Texas motel 6, but the bed is great and the room is clean and the AC is freezing. I have stayed here 4 times and the beach is the reason you are there. The food at the hotel is outstanding. The service is great. We had 35... More

I was staying in nearby León. We rode by van, less than 1 hour, specifically to have dinner at this hotel (I only can comment on restaurant, not hotel). The biggest asset here is location, location, location. The scenery is beautiful, situated right on the Pacific coast. There were a few other people around, but nothing approaching a crowd. The... We stayed at Suyapa Beach Hotel during our most recent trip to Nicaragua. The room and grounds were nice and the location is wonderful. The price included breakfast which was good and the drinks were always cold. The staff were sort of hit and miss - definitely not as friendly as those we have encountered at other places. I swam... I went for lunch with one of my friends, the waiter was so kind, and the food was not bad at all, we ordered fried fish, but they were way too big! it's a good place to relax and hear the waves while drinking a piña colada, this is the place I go to, every time I go to las... More

We went to the hotel for lunch to enjoy the beach and have some great seafood. The spot was perfect, the weather perfect, but the service was bad. There were two couples. The ordered two plates of two different dishes (2 fried Shrimp and 2 fried Fish). The first shrimp plate was served followed by ten minutes later one fish... More

The most modern place in the beach to eat around there. Prices are high be prepared to expend alot for more than 3 persons. the food plates are not that big so if you eat alot try asking how much food your plate has. the beach view is excellent. The place has its own parkinglot but it gets full fast... More
