Surprisingly quiet considering the location. John was really friendly, cooked a delicious breakfast, advised us on what to do and let us stay beyond check out time at no extra cost. A great place to stay in a really lovely city!

A place close to the city center easy access by walking.
There is one choice of breakfast but is really ok and complete.
A bit more privacy would be great.

Thanks for your review. I agree, a bit more privacy would be great in the smaller rooms. But the next time you can ask for a larger more private room. A bit more expensive, but worth it. Thanks again, John

This is a great place to escape from the chaos in Leon. John is a really nice guy and super helpful. The breakfast was just perfect. Rooms look good and cozy. The only thing we didn’t really like was the shower, it is electricity driven to get hot, seemed really dangerous to us.

Thank you for your review Marlo. I know what you mean about the electric shower heads, but a hot shower can sure be refreshing, even in this heat. Thanks again for coming and have great travels ahead, John

Rise up Surf and Yoga camp recommended El Nancite as a halfway stopover and they were bang on. Two senior citizen travellers were well looked after from the meet at the airport, to the room change upon arrival ( moved upstairs with an extra fan and avoided aircon) to the great br

How can I contact you directly to inquire about a booking?
Hi John, My husband and I are a retired couple looking for a good mattress, fan, and access to the kitchen to make our meals when we are not visiting the area. We will arrive late on March 16Th from Managua aeroport, We will stay alt least 10 days. Do you have a room for us at a better price for a long stay? thank you very much for your answer, Charline y Pierre

Which rooms have two beds, balcony, and fans? Thanks.
At El Nancite (named for a small, yellow fruit that grows on the Pacific Coast), there are two upstairs rooms with balconies facing each other across a courtyard with tropical trees and shrubs. Each balcony has a patio table and chairs and offers views of a nearby church. The one I stayed in had two fans, one a ceiling fan and the other a large, free-standing fan. In April/May, it's so hot you definitely want both. The room had a queen bed, a smaller bed by a front window and a TV in another alcove.
