What a lovely (and fairly well hidden) location. Sweeping views from the church (and almost everywhere else). La Maison des Chanoines is in the heart of this beautiful little village. We managed to park right outside though still had a bit of a hike to our room with the luggage. The room was pretty with a wide inglenook style fireplace,...

I am so glad I found this place. Such a beautifully cared for establishment. Our room was wonderful and our evening meal was just glorious. All homemade and beautifully presented. There were 4 of us and unfortunately we only stayed 1 night on the night of the 5th of October. Wish we could have stayed longer. You won't be disappointed...

We spent one night in this beautiful village quite correctly classified as one of the most "beaux villages "in France. It is a small "medieval" village where you will find the hotel up a steepish hill. The hotel comprises two buildings opposite each other in a narrow charming street with a delightfully overgrown garden in between where you can eat under...

We stayed two nights in the beautiful village of Turenne. As we booked our room seven months in advance, expectations were high and we weren't disappointed at all. The old stone staircase takes you to a room furbished with style and offering all the modern amenities you can expect and an utmost cleanliness. Our room "La Labenche" was big enough...

This beautifully restored 16th century accommodation in Turenne is definitely worth a visit. The rooms are nicely furnished, the bathrooms clean and the restaurant is lovely. The hosts are friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. We enjoyed the lovely 3 course dinner featuring local ingredients. Breakfast was also excellent. Overall we really enjoyed our stay - highly recommended!

Perfectly located right inside one of France's most beautiful villages ("plus beau village"), with comfortable accommodations and a wonderful, intimate restaurant in the hotel. Our room, a junior suite with a shared courtyard, was spacious and relaxing; the bathroom and shower nicely laid out. Since the hotel is in the village proper and space is naturally at a premium we...

Welcome was friendly and personable. Room was nice, comfortable ... old style appearance, but modern standard (especially bathroom, great shower!). Re the restaurant, breakfast was excellent, dinner was superb - local ingredients, old style atmosphere. Location makes walking around the town easy - its central and close to everything. A very enjoyable nights stay.

Turenne is a picture postcard of beauty perched on a hillside and renowned as one of the plus beaus villages de France. La Maison des Chanoines perfectly complements the setting, oozing character and charm in a historic building just off the main square. The service is very personable and dining in the atmospheric restaurant is a must. The foie gras...

This place is an absolute dream. Situated in a magical, medieval village perched on the side of a hill, it is a true gem of French patrimoine. There are only a few rooms so the welcome is warm and personal. The rooms are modern and comfortable while maintaining the charm of the delightful C14 (or so) building. The restaurant of...
