We had a great stay and really enjoyed the location and the hospitality. We booked three nights with a terrace which was super nice so we stayed two more nights and as the only room left had no terrace we got to try that too. The room with terrace is much nicer but the price compensation more than balanced that. It was very hot out during out visit and ad there is no AC would have been happy with open windows as there was a nice breeze at night but the few visiting mosquitos made it difficult and thought mosquito screens would be a nice upgrade. Every morning before breakfast we took the bikes to the beautiful nearby beach for walk/ workout/ swim- fantastic! Being 7 month pregnant and with my challenging diabetes diet and the table service due to covid 19buffet restrictions they really went above to accommodate me. We easily biked to lunch/dinner and downtown, finding the location ideal between the beach and town. Clean, really helpful in planning our visit and great options like a hot tub, sauna, indoor and outdoor heated pools. We had such a nice visit to Noirmoutier-en-l’Ile! Hope to be back again!

totally gobsmacked by this place, great atmosphere cool welcome with attention to detail. The pool is awesome, not an Olympic size but cleverly integrated with spotless changing area. The breakfast is really varied with lots of homemade stuff, fresh and excellent quality.

Arrived to a warm and friendly welcome, put motorcycle in secure car park, which was free and shown to our room.
This was clean and tastefully decorated, the whole hotel was clean and tidy with a wonderful pool.
You got the impression nothing was too much trouble and help/advice on finding somewhere to eat in the evening was spot on.
Breakfast was possibly the best continental spread I have ever had, meats and chesses, cereals and cakes, juices and coffees the list goes on and on, it was all fresh and perfectly presented, cost was 9.5 Euros per person but even at that price was value for money.
We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend staying here

This hotel is good. We had a room with a terrace but there is also other outside places to sit elsewhere at hotel. The room was a bit small and not much space to put clothes - especially lack of drawers but otherwise it was fine and clean. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and good value compared with other place we have stayed. The owners are lovely and very friendly and helpful.

If you are visiting Noirmoutier this is the place to stay. The hotel has recently been renovated and has all the amenities you could wish for. However the owner-managers, Patrick and Nelly, are its greatest asset. They are a wonderful couple who welcomed us warmly and went out of
their way to look after us when we had some problems.

We were travelling with our two adult children. My husband and stayed in a triple room with our daughter (a suite where the third bed was in a separate room with a door, providing good privacy for her). Our son had a separate single room.

Our room was spotlessly clean, had plenty of floor, bench, and hanging space, and good lighting. The bathroom had motion-sensitive lighting (good for night-time visits) and a walk-in shower. The wifi reception was excellent. There is free secure parking on site and the hotel also has a
swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious – varied and plentiful.

We arrived on a Saturday after having a problem with our rental car. We had booked for only one night but could not get a replacement car till the Monday morning so asked if we could stay another night. Though the hotel was closed on Sunday night Patrick and Nelly said that of
course we could stay. So we were the only guests that night and for breakfast the next morning. The breakfast buffet provided for us was nevertheless enough for a whole breakfast room full of guests!

The major attraction of Noirmoutier for us was to watch the tide come in over the Passage du Gois, a road which connects the island to the mainland but which can only be crossed at low tide. It is quite an exciting spectacle to watch how quickly the road is covered as the tide comes
in.

As we had no car, Nelly arranged for a taxi to take us to the Passage, (a 20-minute 16 km drive from the hotel) but could not arrange a taxi to bring us back two hours later. So Patrick came out in his own car to pick us up and then took us on 90-minute sightseeing tour of the island of
Normoutier before returning us safely to the hotel. The next morning he helped us again by acting as interpreter when we picked up our replacement rental car. Patrick and Nelly’s kindness made our stay a truly memorable one.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid September and would rate this hotel as the best in its class that we have ever stayed at in France.
From the warm, friendly and most helpful welcome by Nelly, to the impeccably clean facilities, including our room, everything was without fault. The breakfasts were first rate and even included scrambled eggs at no extra cost if you required them.
We had a terrace room with its own small verandah area on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, very pleasant and quiet. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room so if you need these, bring them with you! The room itself is a bit basic but perfectly adequate, comfortable, and as we have already mentioned, spotlessly clean. Bike hire is available at the hotel on an 'as needed' basis at reasonable rates. The free WIFI signal was strong throughout the hotel and we experienced no connection problems.
We thoroughly recommend Nelly and Patrick's establishment and would include people requiring special access provisions in that recommendation.

The island is beautiful, full of delightful beaches. The hotel is between the town and the beach, each is a 10minute walk. Nelly and Patrick who run the hotel are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is great and the rooms are clean. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent two nights in june. Apart from the fact that there was no gym we were quite satisfied (in the michelin guide it says there is a gym)
Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast and friendly owners. To be recommended.

I stayed here with my daughter for a couple of nights in May.
Great location ....walking distance to the beach.
Rooms basic but clean.
Great outdoor heated swimming pool.
Welcoming and friendly husband and wife team who run the show.
Would stay here again without hesitation.
Breakfast was extra .. but comprehensive and lacking for nothing.

The property has nothing to do with what it used to be when the hotel was named "Capucines". Everything is new and quite nice, especially thanks to a very efficient couple running the place and always there to please the customers. A few details could be still improved like the "light captors" in the room but they apparently started to work on it. Rooms are more than ok but can be a little noisy from inside the hotel more than outside. Good breakfast with nice scrambled eggs and simple but fresh products. Bikes available in the backyard at reasonable price. A very nice heated pool is also much appreciated.

Bonjour. Je ne suis qu'un client,je ne sais pas si l'hôtel prend les chèques vacances. Par contre 30 minutes d'utilisation de l'espace bien être sont comprises dans le prix de la chambre.
