We stayed on Ile Noirmoutier for 3 nights in November, the weather was great, the beaches empty, and the town rather quite. What made our stay really enjoyable was the choice of B&B. Sabrina made us very welcome in her house, beautiful furnished in a modern but nevertheless very classical Vendéen beach style. The 3 rooms are all lovely and the common area, with a burning fire, as it has already been rather cold in the evenings, very inviting. Breakfasts have been lovely, home made cakes (that have been available the whole day, as we did not finish everything at breakfast), freshly squeezes Orange Juices, farm joghurt, cereal, bread, croissants.... The beds are very confortabel and the setting very quiet. We were allowed to bring our dog, who was made very welcome as well. The house is just outside Noirmoutier en Ile and just a very short walk from the beach. Sabrina and her husband are real Island People and their love for the place is evident in all the recommandation they give to their guest. In short, when we go back to Noirmoutier, and we will, we will be staying at Les Chênes Verts again. Thank you…
