If you are looking for a place with a private beach that has all the comforts of home, you will find it here. My family of three stayed in the one bedroom cabin and we loved it. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay - full kitchen with coffee and tea provided, comfortable bed and futon, small bathroom with soap, shampoo, and towels provided. There are picnic tables and grills outside. We had a view of Lake Huron from our living room window. The only things you need to bring are beach towels and sunscreen. Also, they are currently offering contactless check in. The owner is easy to reach by phone. I texted her with a question and received a response within minutes.

Me and my boyfriend booked a night here as we were spending the weekend canoeing and enjoying the fall colors. Lain was a great hostess. The room was warm and cozy! From the fresh cut flowers to the cute message board, this cottage was perfect! Would recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

My mom, sister and I went on a 2 day vacation to Oscoda (where we grew up) and we stayed here. The owners were very nice however, the cabins were very run down and extremely dated. The beds felt like bricks, literally. They were nice enough to give me some mattress pads but they didn’t do much to add softness. I am picky, I won’t lie however, the cottages were quite small and were not soundproof, at all. The walls didn’t even reach the ceiling so you could hear every little move movement people made, especially at night.
I truly hate giving them a bad review however, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done and I think it could be quite nice.
