Blue Moon Resort sits aside our private sandy beach along beautiful Lake Huron. We are located right on North Highway US-23. We have multiple cabins nestled on the sandy Lake Huron beachfront located five miles south of Oscoda, Michigan. Known as sunrise bay, our newly renovated cabins are open throughout the year. Our cozy cabins all come with free Wi-Fi, TV with streaming apps.,1-3 bedrooms, full kitchens equipped with microwaves, refrigerators, dishes, and pans. Most cabins allow for the majestic lake view well known as the “Sunrise Coast’. Our mission is to serve with pleasure and also respect the safety of our guests and our staff whom we serve with humbled pleasure. Our goal is for you to feel like it is a home away from home with stunning views towards your revitalization. My wife and I were rained out of a camping trip and very luckily came across East Coast Shores Resort. The site as a whole is perfect with a incredible views, a private beach, and plenty of activities right on the grounds. Our cabin, #5, was also fantastic. We spent our evenings in the screened in porch listening to the storms and could not have been more pleased. We will certainly be back!

the location is perfect, great view all day long , private, very quiet, and the owner sue is amazing super nice and very very clean cottages, definately will b back again..very reasonable rates as well

This resort is the best. The host Sue is amazing. Our family wanted to extend our vacation because we had so much fun. Extremely clean place to stay. Already booked all 6 cabins for next year. Will never go anywhere else.

Just got home from our 10th year in a row at East Coast Shores Resort! It became a tradition after our first year, and we LOVE it! We have stayed in all the cabins except for numbers 1 and 3, (we stay in #2), but our favorite is #6 (6 is never available!) ALL are clean,well furnished and reasonably priced! The hosts, Sue and Paige are like family, and always ready with advice and things to do. We've already booked for next year!!

We had a two-night stay in early August 2018. We were in cottage #1 which is perfect for two, although four people could fit. The host Sue was friendly and welcoming, and the cottage was clean. The best aspects of the resort are the beach and the lake views. The beach is soft sand and gently slopes into the water. The sunrises were beautiful over the lake, and the water reflected the sunsets too. The resort is convenient to shopping and restaurants, but there are full kitchens and outdoor grills overlooking the beach so you can cook for yourself. We will return if we come back to the area, and we recommend East Coast Shores Resort.

Lucky enough to grab cabin #6.... the closest to the water and furthest from anyone else. Beautiful two bedroom cabin, immaculate condition, wonderful hosts (Sue and Paige), close to Oscoda but feels like your own personal hideaway. I had worried about one review that wasn't very kind, so I continued to check other resorts, and finally settled on giving them a try.....and so glad that I did! When you come around to the property, there are lights in the trees of the common area making it look absolutely enchanting! I could go on and on about the weekend we had, beautiful sunrises on our PRIVATE deck, gorgeous moonlight at night.....this little place has it all!
