Extremely clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Great view. I would give it 5 stars if you could get down to the water but understand that's an investment they would probably loose on and have no control over. Still the view was great! If we go back up north we would stay here and probably use this as our central point...

I expected more of a resort setting, but this is just a pleasant hotel. The rooms aren't very large and ours didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. The room is kind of dated, but very, very clean. and the view was amazing! The people who work at the hotel were very friendly, knowledgeable and gracious. The first morning the breakfast...

The Magnuson Grand Lakefront Hotel is 11 miles from the Lower Tahquamenon Falls so it is a convenient place to stay if you overnight in Paradise. The hotel staff is very friendly and the lobby is large and open (there is a jar of lifesavers on the counter and they encourage you to take them). They lost their beach to...

We had a great stay at this hotel. The water view was lovely and well worth the extra cost. The breakfast was good. The kind you would expect to find in this type of hotel and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. (One criticism was that the room was not restocked well for our second day of the stay....

We stayed at the Magnuson Grand for one night while on a tour of the Upper Peninsula. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very nice. We stayed there the night before we hiked Tahquamenon Falls because it is only a few minutes away. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The continental breakfast is excellent with...

The hotel and staff were great, friendly, informative, They lost their beach a few years ago, so their picture is a little off on the beach frontage. There were only 3 places for dinner, unless you call pizza dinner, so we took the advice of the staff for some fresh white fish at Brown Fisheries Fish House, they say they...

This hotel is very clean and there are wonderful views of Lake Superior. There is an indoor pool and hot tub; if you are in there just to supervise kids, dress lightly as it is hot as Hades in there. There are steps to Lake Superior that cannot be used at this time as the property near the lake is...

Paradise is a great little town. Magnuson Grand is a great hotel to stay at. Clean room comfortable bed and beautiful view of the lake. We were arriving late and called to let them know. The GPS didn't exactly know where to go so I called them back and asked to make sure we were going the right way. Finally...

Myself and three grandchildren were on a trip through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I booked this hotel because it was directly on Lake Superior. A beach was advertised but more than a couple of years ago the lake had risen and taken out the beach. I think this should have been noted in the hotel website. The room was...

The staff was very friendly. The room was large and very clean. Lots of towels and they really smelled fresh. Lots of pillows on the bed! The bed was comfortable and fresh smelling, too. We slept with the windows open and listened to the lake all night. Breakfast was good, usually standard fare. No beach as the lake levels were...
