Conveniently located between Alpena and Rogers City on beautiful lake Huron in Northbay. One can watch the sunsets or sunrise from the beach. Nature trails for the outdoor enthusiast. Bikes and Kayaks are also available. In the common room there is a microwave and small refrigerator stocked with beverages. Visit the "new" and "old" Presque Isle Lighthouses.
This place was awesome. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting and a short tour. We settled into our large but cozy room. It had a private bathroom, desk and seating. We also made full use of the common area which had a table, comfortable couches, tv, coffee station, microwave and refrigerator. This space also had direct access to the patio, boardwalk and beach. There was a bit of a walk to the beach but the boardwalk and beauty around it made for a nice walk.
They made sure our accommodations were comfortable and that we had what we needed for a great stay.
Carla prepared delicious breakfasts for us including homemade bread and muffins. She started each breakfast with fresh fruit. Both she and Neil shared the history of this lovely place that they built.
They are familiar with the area and offered suggestions about locations to visit and the most convenient parking areas.
We had an extra blessing of an amazing northern lights show on their beach.
I highly recommend this place if you are staying in the area.

Carla & Neil are consummate hosts, warm & welcoming. Their lovely B&B is located steps away from a private beach on the North Bay, with two well appointed large guest rooms with private bathrooms separated by a common area with fridge, hot water kettle, microwave, TV, and best of all for coffee lovers like me, a Keurig coffee machine with an array of coffee pod options - quality coffee during my stay was an unexpected bonus.
Carla’s breakfast menus are not to be missed: my visit included a fresh fruit cup, orange juice, coffee, sausage links and a delicious egg & cheese mix baked in a spinach cup, some thick toast & jam...AND a fresh baked muffin to go that I enjoyed the following morning.
The graciously offered to let me park my bike overnight in one of their garage bays, more evidence of the thoughtfulness with which they welcome their guests. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable & memorable visit to Presque Isle, you’ll be glad you chose the North Bay B&B.

My husband and I (married 42 years) enjoy staying in the Bed and Breakfast setting when we travel. North Bay was hands down one our most favorite! Rooms are beautifully themed, comfortable, clean and crafted with stunning woodwork floor to ceiling 😳. Breakfast was all homemade and scrumptious! Carla and Neil are friendly, incredibly talented and very gracious. There home sits on North Bay, a secluded, calm setting, across from the Lighthouse! There is a shipwreck in the middle of the bay you could kayak to if you choose. You must have them tell you their most interesting story 😉. This one is definitely on our short list to revisit!

North Bay Bed and Breakfast is absolutely a first-class experience from check-in to check-out. Our room was flawless; everything to make our stay comfortable is included. The shared room is very nice and fully equipped with a toaster oven, coffee pot, microwave, small refrigerator, cups/glasses and silverware. Neil and Carla are extremely warm and friendly people. Carla makes an absolutely scrumptious breakfast each morning. Bicycles (2) as well as kayaks (also 2) are available to use. Take time to watch the sunset from their piece of paradise (the Bay...their backyard) chairs and/or a swing make the experience even better and more relaxing. I would give a 10 star rating if I could!

If you're looking for a peaceful, lakefront get-away, this is it! The two rooms have a community room with fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. The back door leads to a shared patio with chairs & swing, attached to the boardwalk that leads to a private beach on the bay complete with 2 kayaks, firepit (plenty of wood) and lots of chairs and a swing - all looking out on a clear water bay. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake: kayaked across to view the sunken shipwreck; sat in the evening sharing a fire; and had morning coffee and a quick swim (having the whole bay to ourselves). Carla makes a substantial breakfast that includes her freshly made muffins and homemade bread/toast. The rooms & bath are larger than most B&B's and immaculately clean and beautiful (ask how Carla & Neal harvested their own wood & built the home with it). If they don't retire anytime soon, we'll be back!

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend, and I found this B & B on the internet with great reviews. We arrived and were greeted by Carla the owner / hostess. I knew the moment we started talking to her that I felt like I knew her forever. ( She was very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to). The place is immaculate and beautiful. The home was built using their own wood from trees grown where they once lived in Birch Run. There is a book in the common area downstairs that will tell you the story of how it became The North Bay Bed and Breakfast. They have 2 rooms that are very large with a Bathroom. It was very cozy and comfortable. If you step outside the door of the common area (which is a living room with couches and chairs, tv, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig etc...). You find yourself on a deck outback complete with chairs to sit back and relax and take in the beauty of the outdoors. It was so peaceful and quiet. You can walk down the wooden pathway all the way down to the calm Lake. If your adventurous they have 2 Kayaks you can use on the Lake. The breakfast Carla makes is over the top. Homemade muffins, bread, Quiches, fancy fruit and yogurt parfait. It was delicious. Trust me you will not go away hungry. I cant say enough about this B & B , and what a wonderful , relaxing, and Stress free time my Husband and I had.
We cant wait to return again sometime soon

Carla and Neil have a great place and welcomes you as though you are family. Their place is awesome and quiet in Presque Isle, MI.
You’ll never go hungry from Carla’s breakfast. Love the spinach with egg and cheese, plenty of homemade bread for toast with jelly. Coffee and orange juice, and muffins to go, which was eaten as a late night snack.
Nice rooms with private bath, divided by a shared living area. Great walkway to the beach/lake. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the breathtaking view. Great sunsets, we seen loons and a snapping turtle.
There is plenty to do in the area, visiting the light houses and shipwreck museum. Local restaurants and bars.
Spent a couple of days riding our motorcycles in the area.

My husband and I received a gift certificate to North Bay and were so pleased! Carla and Neil were such nice people and made sure we felt welcomed and cared for. It is a beautiful home and some incredible views even if the weather wasn't so cooperative. Carla has some great ideas on what to do that was nearby and they didn't disappoint. If you like the water, hiking and peaceful surroundings, this will fill that need. Thank you Neil and Carla!

This place is run by a lovely older couple who provide an excellent experience. The accommodations are beautiful and themed. The beach is beautiful and the lighthouses nearby are a must see for anyone visiting. There is an old shipwreck half a mile off shore that is awesome to kayak over and snorkel at. We highly recommend!

Awesome B&B in Presque Isle. The property and residence is very well maintained. The house is one of a kind, located right on Lake Huron. The B&B owners are very welcoming and hospitable. Accommodations were better than a 5star hotel. The area is great for diving and hiking.

Hi Mary,
Sorry for the delay in answering. I hope my response is still timely enough to help you. No, this B&B could not accommodate 24 guest. They only have two bedroom suites (that I am aware of) for guest. I can imagine it would be very difficult to find a B&B for that many guest; usually they are single family homes. Best wishes on your search for accommodations.
