Basic motel room. I was so impressed. The room was VERY clean. This was the first time staying at Driftwood. The staff were concerned with how we liked the room and if we had everything we needed. When checking out one of the housekeepers wanted to make sure everything was clean. From now on anytime we stay in Saint Ignace...

We have stayed at the Driftwood for many years. We vacation for a week in the Keweenaw Bay area each August & we drive up & stop in St. Ignace Friday, stay Friday night, then continue on further NW for the rest of our vacation. On our way back home, we stay here the following Saturday night. It would be...

We stayed for one night and were totally Impressed! We travel a lot, mostly to big cities, and I will say when I saw the price of the room I was a bit hesitant they would old and run down. Not the case! The room was clean, bathroom large and had good lighting! There is a large covered porch that...

We stayed here while Trekking the Mac so the location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was excellent, the room for the price was good, wouldn't mind a different shower head but would definitely stay again. Atmosphere at the bar was a Cheers kind of place so you don't feel like an outsider. Whitefish dip was awesome!

I always stay at the Driftwood when I'm in St. Ignace. The rooms are clean, big, beds are pretty comfortable. The bathrooms are enormous! Wifi was great this time even though I was in room 108. Always feel very welcomed by the staff. Thank you!!

My husband stays at the Driftwood every February for his hockey tournament (guys only) so when we travel to the U.P. together this is always our first stop. A great place attached to an awesome sports bar that has great food. They gave us an updated room with a huge renovated bathroom and it made the start to our anniversary...

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The motel is across the street from the Mackinac Island ferry docks so it is a great place if you are headed to the island.

Booked a room a couple weeks in advance for one night during Labor Day weekend 2016. Received a message Friday late afternoon of Labor day weekend saying they "forgot" to write my name in the book and they did not have a room available for us and to please call. I called and he was very apologetic and said he...

We stayed at the driftwood on a recent trip to the UP. It was clean, super nice people and the wifi worked great. The room was a two queen bed room. The A/C worked good. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Out side the rooms are tables and chairs where people sit and chat with other travelers - its a...

On a motorcycle trip, booked a single person room. Room was small, but clean. Place was sold out. Front desk people were very friendly. For what it cost compared to other hotels in the area, it was a steal. No breakfast included, but this property has a restaurant/bar attached. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The parking lot...
