We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Outdoor balcony that overlooks the water, the kids loved playing in the courtyard of the b&b. The rooms are small and outdated (also, no coffee pot), but having the courtyard made up for all of it. Across the street from Arnold ferry.

The Colonial House Inn is adorable. Beautiful rooms in all shapes and sizes and decorated tastefully. If you have difficulty with stairs make sure you ask for a room on the first floor. Wifi is provided but is a little unreliable. Breakfast is very nice and tasty. If you plan to take the ferry across to Mackinac Island, the Arnold...

Was very happy with the size of the rooms, stayed in the hotel the first night. Room was large and clean. We did our tour of the UP the next few days and stayed in the house on our way back. Was beautifully decorated with a wonderful lake view. The staff was friendly.

We stayed at the colonial house inn bed and breakfast for one night. Don't let the bad paint job on the exterior fool you, this place is wonderful and charming on the inside! We were greeted by a very nice lady and she led us to our room (we stayed in the ivory room). The bed was wonderful and comfy...

We stayed in number 11. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was nicely finished. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and telling about sites to visit in the U.P. I would stay here again. The only suggestions would be a coffee pot in the hotel room. We did have access to coffee next door.

The wife and I wanted a short getaway weekend over Memorial Day, so we came to the Colonial House Inn. We truly enjoyed the chairs in front of the room which offered a view of the bay and were able to watch the ships coming and going to/from Mackinac Island. We were right downtown and could walk to shopping, dining...

We visited in August 2015 on a motorcycle. They were so accomodating. Perfect location right across the street from the ferry! Our room was on the 3rd floor - so beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. Couldn't ask for any more for our visit! Gary and Rue S.

The rooms on the second floor facing the lake have an amazing view. Stayed in August and had a fun time hanging out with friends on the balcony. It is close to restaurants and convenience stores. The rooms are small and a bit dated but clean.

This bed and breakfast is located in a great spot not far from the Mackinac Island bridge or the ferry boat lines to Mackinac Island. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and inviting. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the ferries and island. Breakfast was good. The owners were friendly and helpful. Places are easily walked to...
