A friendly, personal and comfortable guest house with personal touches from the owners. Highly recommended for staying in the Oak Bay area. The rooms are all different and even though we chose one opening into the reception area we weren't troubled by noise.

Set in a quiet residential area of Oak Bay, with a large garden area for strolling and upstairs an aptly named sun room with a library, a large screen tv, and facilities for making tea or chilling a beverage in the fridge. The new owners have recently done a lot of upgrading without taking away from the historic charm of...

We stay here mainly because of the location, close to our family. It is good value for Victoria. We’ll be back. • I LOVE the lounges: the cosy fireplace lounge with the daily paper for winter, or the sunny upper lounge overlooking the garden in spring. Curl up with a book, or try a puzzle, or watch the big screen...

Each room is done in a different style and named accordingly. The place is immaculate. The fireplace in a living room is on all the time. The Times Colonist is waiting for you to do sudoku, crossword puzzle etc. Duncan, the owner and the staff are most accommodating making sure that you feel like royalty. The fresh flowers (like for...

We understand this place is under new management. We had a comfortable stay. If we had stayed longer we would have made use of the lovely upstairs lounge. Breakfast was very good and we were given home made muffins to enjoy during our travels.

Yes the lounge upstairs is really lovely, especially in the spring when the trees are in blossom. I'm glad you enjoyed the breakfast and muffins too, we get lots of good comments about those. We hope you will come back and stay longer next time!

It is a short drive to downtown Victoria and has free parking. The inn is very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are very good and are...
