My wife and i spend 3 to 4 days at the end of October and we loved the atmosphere, service and cleanliness of this Inn.
Shawn a true gentlemen made sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Food was excellent !

The Inn was beautifully decorated and the grounds impeccable, a great experience.
We will be back to this Inn and everyone should experience the adventure.

The room was perfect! There was fireplace with a comfortable chair and couch. They have tea, coffee and drinks out in the afternoon, which I loved! The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the large jetted tub and bath salts that they provided. It was a great place to relax and unplug. We are planning to make it an annual event.

From the moment we arrived we were blown away not only by the architecture, decor and ambiance but also the wonderful greeting we received from the owner Shaun. The grounds are beautiful and so is the rest of the building, as if you're transported to a French countryside. The room was very clean and charming. The four course dinner we had was delicious and beautifully served on white table cloth and spotless silverware. The breakfast was also delicious and served with as much care and attention to detail as dinner was. We cannot wait to come back.

We have stayed at probably 20 bed and breakfasts over the years, and this will not be a repeat stay. The tub had several hairs in it, and about 8” of black disintegrated caulk. There was a very large beetle in the toilet upon arrival and a fly buzzing around. The footboard was broken. The welcome snack was a cookie bar that had been cut in half, very small.

Things that can’t be helped much were the car noises from the highway, and the very loud entrance of late night guests stumbling and banging around above and around you. I could hear our next door neighbors activities far more than I cared for. But, it’s a B&B and it happens. Still, lost sleep.

Breakfast was very disappointing both mornings. After yogurt and fruit and some small breads, we got extremely thin bacon and overly sweet and soggy French toast. The next morning was a frittata, or as i observed it ‘egg jello’ which was unappetizing so we barely ate it. We sat at a table near windows that were in sore need of repainting.

It’s a shame these nice people don’t have better accommodations especially for $350 a night in the off season.

I had been looking forward to our stay but it was a bit of a let down. The room is WAY overpriced. we were on the third floor overlooking the back of a brewery it was 80degrees outside and 85 inside. There was a fan in the room but no air conditioner. so no way to control the temperature. There is an electric fireplace. The bed was very uncomfortable I had to look as I thought we were sleeping on the box springs, but no just a cheap mattress. The bathroom is extremely small. just a shower and toilet; the sink is in the bedroom. I did like that they had shampoo, cream rinse and gel in the shower (not individual bottles) There is a coffee/tea maker in the room. and there is supposed to be a station on the 2nd floor for early risers but not the day we were there. (breakfast is only served between 9am and 10am)
We did have dinner there and that was very good. The drinks were great!
The breakfast was also very good, but you get what you get. there were no options for breakfast. I loved the coffee. I would stay somewhere else next time.

We ate dinner at the Restaurant for our anniversary. The food was wonderful and service outstanding. Before dinner we walked around outside in the lovely gardens. The restaurant had plenty of character and old world charm. We felt very comfortable inside the restaurant. The waiter was wearing a mask and we were seated at least 6 feet apart from the closest table. Executive Chef and Co-owner Shawn Glynn was kind enough to visit our table after dinner and chat with us. He was very personable and engaging. Not only was his food delicious, but it was very reasonable given the high quality of the cooking. Chef Glynn paid particular attention to our dietary restrictions in preparing our dinner. Truly a special place to celebrate a special occasion. We highly recommend this place!

My husband and our two teenage daughters had a wonderful experience at the Inn. Dinner and breakfast were top notch and we enjoyed being outside of the often crowded downtown Saugatuck. We also felt very safe during the Covid pandemic as the Inn took all precautions. We loved running every morning amid the horse farms. Service is impeccable here ... thanks Sean!

While visiting in nearby Holland Michigan, we drove to Saugatuck for the evening to have dinner at The Belvedere Inn and Restaurant. The restaurant is currently open only Friday & Saturday, and has 2 nightly seatings -- 6 & 8 PM. There is a Prix Fixe menu with options for 1, 2,3, or 4 courses. We had a lovely, quiet dinner, in beautiful surroundings, and with excellent service. Would certainly visit again and consider staying in the inn next time as well.

We booked a room last minute as a winter getaway. It couldn't have been a better experience. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Peaceful is the best word to describe it. However, the food was absolutely phenomenal. Because of COVID rules, they were only allowed to deliver the meals to our room, but that didn't take anything away from the experience. They setup a really nice candle-lit table in the corner of the room, and the food was delivered promptly and was hot. It felt like we had butler service. The food itself was amazing. Definitely would recommend this for couples looking for a quiet night away, even in the winter. Only a few minutes away from downtown Saugatuck and great hiking trails at the state park.

This is a charming inn with friendly owners and staff, set in a town with just enough to do to keep you interested but not so much that you will be tired. Our 3rd floor room was very comfortable. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was not open on the nights we stayed. The location was ideal for several long bike rides to the north.
Nearby towns of Fennville and Holland are worth visiting, as well as Saugatuck.
