We stayed during the cold of winter - lots of snow and wind. Great B & B. Our room was very nice. Very Very comfortable bed. Our view was of the brick building next door - the post office. But that would not stop us from staying again Fireplace- dvd- with dvd's available for watching. Beautiful sun room and common... More

we stayed in a suite and it was fantastic! While the shower is slightly small and no shelf to put your shampoo it would not change my decision to stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The setup of all the common rooms was also very nice. We would stay here again.

The Maplewood Hotel is in an excellent location near shopping and restaurants. It wasn't busy when we were here so we took a 'tour' of the Inn and the rooms are nicely done; unless you have a suite, the bathroom and shower are tiny. Another reviewer is correct in that you may want a room on the opposite side of... More

Our group of 14 met at the Maplewood to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our club. The Maplewood met and exceeded our expectations. The rooms and baths, while not large, were clean and comfortable. The common rooms were beautifully decorated and specious with plenty of room for all of the guests. The two breakfast areas were lovely, Meeting with our... More

This was our second time visiting this B&B, and probably our last. The location is great for walking around town, and is close to everything. We were told that breakfast would be served between 9-10. We got there at 9:30, and was told all the food was gone. They had been "slammed" at 9, and the food was pretty much... More

We booked the Maplewood for our first off-campus reunion of our fraternity pledge class of 1959-yes this was our 55th year. The hotel, although not a 5 star resort, was the perfect size for our gathering. It's location was within walking distance of everything except the golf courses. The facility, although a renovated 1912 hotel, was clean and comfortable. We... More

We stayed here years ago and loved it. Our recent stay was less than wonderful. We noted a broken shower head and it was never repaired. The room wasn't cleaned the following morning, and when we mentioned it to the clerk, she seemed unconcerned. There is a very limited breakfast(it is a B&B!) Very disappointing!

Stayed here with my husband for a weekend getaway. While the hotel is in a great location (close to downtown area), the hotel needs some TLC. Water dripped all night, mattress was uncomfortable, noisy deliveries early in the morning. Definitely not worth what we paid.

There is only a gourmet breakfast which means pound cake, grapes Cheese, beans and asparagus. The website pictures are misleading. If your beautiful room faces the post office, be prepared for 3:00 a.m.noises as a budget rental truck delivers packages to the post office loudly.

Located a block from the shopping hub on Butler and right next to a playground, the Maplewood is the best location in Saugatuck. You can walk a block to Uncommon Grounds for really good coffee and muffins in the morning and come back to the New York Times. There are 15 rooms and suites. We opted for a suite, nothing... More
