Welcoming staff greeted us with smiles & cookies. We rented the whole inn and the accommodations were perfect for our family celebration (80th birthday & 60th wedding anniversary). Many thanks to the gracious staff who accommodated us and made us feel welcome during our entire stay

We come here because Saugutuck is such a nice little town on the water with little shops. The Wickwood Inn is so comfortable we love staying here in their large suite in front. The food here is awesome. They have a wonderful spread for breakfast with egg dishes, meats, cakes, fruit, etc. At 6:00 pm they do little snacks, appetizers...

Most Small Inns are loaded with charm but this one beats them all. We travel 6 months of the year and we simply fell in love with this inn...the staff and service, the generous and delicious food offerings, the grounds, our room ( the Vineyard) and the location. We stayed longer than our original reservation and will return as soon...

We're so glad you chose to stay with us during your travels and extend your visit to enjoy this gorgeous fall with us. We're looking forward to the holidays that are almost upon us as its an especially "food-fun" time with favorites like, Apple Bread Pudding & Vanilla Sauce, Toffee Pecan Squares and our Holiday Butter Balls, So perhaps we'll...

From the time you are greeted at the door, check into your room and sip on wine and Hors d'oeuvres at night, you know you are truly in an outstanding location. Location allows you to walk into Saugatuck and enjoy its many shops.

Maybe it was the "Top 25" B&Bs in the country that set the high expectations - or maybe it was the nearly $400/night that set those expectations - And, while my expectations were not met - it was still a good visit at a nice B&B. Here are some details... Arrived a little early, but our greeter made it VERY...

Hello, We're so glad you chose Wickwood to enjoy your weekend away. Believe us when we say, resting on our laurels is the last thought we would ever do at the Inn. Our focus is providing a premiere experience from the rooftop down to the cookies you enjoy in the evening. We've only ever had our guests best experience in...

Saugatuck is a charming river side town with lots of shopping and restaurants. Very near to Oval Beach, Dune Buggy rides, Dune State Park, Mt. Baldy climb, Douglas arts and many countryside venues such as wine and cider tasting, farmer markets, artist studios, artisan cheese shops etc. The Wickwood is a great place to stay for walking access to all...

We love hearing from our guests; thank you for the specifics you have pointed out. We want to address anything and everything that is not exceeding our guests’ expectations, so we appreciate the constructive criticism and have taken it to heart. We’re so grateful for another busy summer! But, prior to cold temperatures ascending, we’ve spent the past couple of...

A friend of mine and I stayed at the Wickwood Inn for two nights. Room was super small as was the bathroom. Breakfasts were great but apps were mainly cheeses. For $379 per night I think it was a total rip off!! Restaurants and shops were very nice. Sidewalks roll up about 9:30 pm so nothing to do past that....

So glad you could stay with us for your “Girl’s Weekend!” It’s nice to hear that you enjoyed our award-winning Oval Beach and Saugatuck’s charming downtown. Yes, we agree, our bathrooms are small. But, while we’d love to enlarge our rooms, our historic designation prohibits it. So, we enjoy pampering guests in other ways: We fill the Inn with fresh...

We stayed in the Christie Suite and it was elegant, spacious, classy, but also cozy and very relaxing. The artwork was really cool too. We even had friends hang out with us in the living room area of the suite, as it's a fairly large suite with sofa, chairs, and floor pillows to gather around the stone/glass coffee table. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Wickwood! Perfectly placed in the heart of Saugatuck's Historic District, our Inn is prodigious - providing you with more privacy than a Bed and Breakfast and more pampering than a Boutique Hotel. We can't wait for you to experience the difference of life at Wickwood! We are smitten by the fresh flavors of the seasons, and we're serious about celebrating local food. Everyday we serve our owner and Silver Palate Cookbook author's distinctive Champagne Brunch, Evening Sips & Small Plates, and Scrumptious Sweets & Treats throughout your stay. All of this is complimentary because we adore the cheer that comes from sharing good food and wine seasoned with a generous dash of laughter. Of course, high speed WiFi and private parking are also part of your stay. Life it too short to worry about additional charges and costs. As you step outside our doors, the charm of our coastal Village awaits. With its pristine beaches, award winning art galleries, unique boutiques and intriguing historic interests ... you may be unable to resist life in Saugatuck! ... more   less
