Don't visit unless you want to experience life in the slow lane. You need to just sit back and relax as you watch the Oliphant river flow by. You never know what will come by next or when it will arrive. There are no fences so you have to expect any animals to walk by be prepared. This is hidden...

This is a hidden gem on a Big 5 Game Reserve! The place is clean and beautiful with a gorgeous, clean pool and land that goes right to the Olifants River where we watched an elephant eat for 30 minutes. Oli cooks you a personal 3 course meal to your liking and was a charming conversationalist. So glad we didn't...

Spent 2 lovely evenings relaxing and enjoying nature. What could be better than eating breakfast while watching and hearing hippos call and splash about in the water from your front porch. There are no fences around the lodge and game can walk right through at any moment. Great place to get away from the crowds at Kruger.

Initially I was reluctant to write a review for Mfubu Lodge but this was purely for my own selfish reasons as Mfubu is an absolute gem of a place to stay. My wife and I have stayed here on a number of occasions and each time we have had wonderful stay and did not want to leave. If you want...

Olina and her staff make a stay at this river side lodge very pleasant. The natural surroundings are wonderful. The lodge is beautifully designed with river side sleeping and dining. The lodge caters for all the creature comforts including a swimming pool. Game drives are personal and small scale. Wildlife is very varied and can freely roam in and around...

It's been almost 10 years and we still go through our pictures and talk about this amazing vacation. Unfortunately I could not put the right date there as it goes only to June 2013. :( We just loved it!!!!! Not much else could be said. Watching elephants, hippos and other animals straight from our stone hut porch was amazing. Olga...

A lodge in the middle of the bush next to Krugerpark. This is the place of the animals. This time I saw giraffe, hippo's, various deer, and an elephant at the parking lot. There are little chalets for self catering at the river, or catering can be provided. Oli and her coworkers will always make sure you feel relaxed. They...

Mfubu Lodge and Gallery is a place where natures bounties are displayed in all their splendour. It is a magical place that once you have discovered it you will want to return again and again. A Visit begins with a warm and genuine welcome from Olga to a place she loves and cares for. The Lodge consists of main camp,...

This place speaks to the soul. The only sounds come from the African bush with the Oliphant River languidly flowing by Stone Cottage where we watched elephants at the water's edge at dusk, herds of impala, frisky baboons and vervet monkeys. We had authentic African dishes prepared by Sylvia and excellent dessert by Olga. We'll always cherish memories of our...

Looking for tranquility - excitement - interest - solitude - good company - bad company (baboons, that is) - hospitality - African art ??? Then a stay at Mfubu Lodge and Gallery will provide you with as many, or as few, of these as you wish. We stayed in the Stone Cottage overlooking the Oliphants River and shared our veranda...
