Nice Privately owned campground. Owners are the staff and they very friendly and seems to actually care a lot about the place and our enjoyment. Near rivers to kayak or canoe. Campsites were very clean and well laid out. Public washhouse was also very clean. Nice hot water showers! Even has a little kitchenette and laundry facility. Fun areas for children and adults. playground, volleyball net. mini dog park I was there in June and September 2020

This campground is delightful! Built in the 30's, the charming period cabins and buildings are well maintained. There are areas for children's playing, a dog walking area, even a specific fish cleaning area. Our tent campsite was large with plenty of room for the tent, van, supplies, etc and had lots of privacy. The site we chose had electric. The main campground building had bathrooms (absolutely immaculate), a large common room with kitchen facilities (also immaculate), eating area, pool table, TV area and laundry facilities. There was also a stand along freezer in the common room for guests to use to freeze the fish they caught. The campground filled up over the weekend yet it was quiet. The tiny store was well stocked with necessary supplies and firewood was a bargain at $5 a bundle. Haley, one of the owners, was so kind and accommodating while making the reservation over the phone, very attentive when we arrived and this is the first campground I have stayed at (and there have been many) that the owners take such interest in how we were doing. They came around the campground every day at least once to see if we were doing OK and if we needed anything. I would HIGHLY recommend this campground.

Very nice place! Came on memorial day weekend with family. Staff was very friendly and seems to actually care a lot about the place and our enjoyment, and they are mindful of future improvement. Campsites were very clean and well laid out. Public washhouse was also very clean. Nice hot water showers! Even has a little kitchenette and laundry facility. Got kids? Place is awesome for that too. Big playground, organized activities (for adults too), and slow speed limits to maximize safety. Oh, they have a fenced in mini dog park too for your more furry "children". It was a little noisy in the afternoon and evening with kids playing sports games together, some dogs barking, and people being themselves around the campfire. But once the official quiet hours hit, it was nearly silent. And, they have staff that doubles as security to enforce the quiet hours. Overall, nice place. We'll definitely consider coming back, especially if they upgrade more RV campsites to full hookup (most have electric, some have water, few have sewer), which is in their future plans!
