Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights on our first anniversary 2 years ago. It was a beautiful place in such a quiet and secluded area. The hosts were lovely and welcoming including the 2 gorgeous dogs. The breakfast was brilliant with so much selection (including gluten free meals) our only regret is that we didn't book in...

Very welcoming and wonderful B&B in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside (despite being arriving very late!!). Food: breakfast, packed lunches and dinner were all really great. Wonderful value, look forward to returning!!!

We had a lovely stay here. The food is home cooked, all gluten free, unless stated by the lovely patron, who happens to be an amazing cook! The room was fantastic, shower, bed, all great. The care and attention were second to none. A lovely area to roam and explore too. We will return. This is a fantastic place to...

We like the previous reviewer have not stopped at Turnerford but we do know the owners and they are great hosts and their place is lovely. I can not believe the mentality of the previous reviewer who obviously has no life if he needs to write a negative review for not accepting children. Has he never visited a travel agents...

A beautifully remote location , with a extremely warm welcome from the hosts , who did every thing to make my elderly parents diamond wedding anniversary stay an absolute success. Coeliac for over thirty years , my father has never had such an extensive menu to choose from for the evening meals and breakfast - this puts a lot of...

Turnerford Fold is located in a beautiful, secluded country location. It is a tastefully restored barn, with cosy comfortable accommodation which my wife booked for a three night autumn B&B break. We decided to include dinner because my wife is a coeliac and usually our dining out experiences are spoilt by lack of choice. What a fortunate decision! Fiona who...

My father has coeliac disease and I am a vegetarian, so eating out together has always been a challenge. Turnerford Fold was thus the perfect place for us (and my omnivore husband), with an extensive menu for all of us and food which was beautifully done. The accommodation is delightful and perfect for exploring The Dales and Lakes. We were...

We booked as two couples to celebrate a Silver Wedding Anniversary with the draw for us being the option to have dinner. We had been told about the approach to the property and although narrow and bumpy, a steady drive ensured we arrived safely. Surrounded by fields with horses and geese you certainly got the feeling you were at place...

This was a birthday celebration with friends, returning to my county of birth whilst it was in the afterglow of Le Grand Depart. Fiona and Paul proved excellent hosts with superb gluten free meals in comfortable, tranquil surroundings. Definitely "off the beaten track" but the scenery around the B&B and in the adjacent Dales is stunning, enhanced by fantastic weather...

A second visit to this fantastic B and B which is such a blessing for people with food allergies. I am very allergic to gluten and the effort Fiona goes to to ensure that people with food allergies can eat in complete confidence is amazing. The food is delicious and Fiona takes pleasure in making gluten free versions of foods...
