My wife and I stayed here one night earlier this month for a nearby wedding. The hotel is in a golf resort, but we don't partake so only enjoyed the room and lobby.

Our room was on the 3rd floor with an excellent view of the golf course and Ford Lake. The amenities of this hotel blew my wife and I away. We were on a return visit to Ypsilanti as we had not been back in the...More
Golfing at its best! It is s difficult course, water on almost every hole. Greens are plateaued and pin placement is difficult, but easy to three or four putt.

I agree with the responder above. If you are flushed with cash, it is certainly better than the other floors. However, the entire hotel is well designed, and the concierge level simply adds a concierge room with lounging chairs, free newspapers, coffee, excellent hot breakfast. Calculate what breakfast for two downstairs would cost (probably $20-$30, and ask yourself if you are willing to pay $70 instead for the concierge level.
Traffic during student move in weekend. Also homecoming and sports events. Another high traffic time is during the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The first or second weekend in August. These are the traffic issues I was refering to.
