We've stayed here a few times and it has always been a nice stay. On site dining options makes it uncomplicated for anyone"stranded" at the hotel. Lovely views of the golf course and lake. Only drawback is that the walls aren't the greatest sound insulators.

We have stayed here four times over the past eight years. It's our go-to hotel in the Ann Arbor area. We have always had a good experience. The bathrooms are getting a little dated, but otherwise everything is top-notch.

However, the entire hotel is well designed, and the concierge level simply adds a concierge room with lounging chairs, free newspapers, coffee, excellent hot breakfast. Calculate what breakfast for two downstairs would cost (probably $20-$30, and ask yourself if you are willing to pay $70 instead for the concierge level.
Traffic during student move in weekend. Also homecoming and sports events. Another high traffic time is during the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The first or second weekend in August. These are the traffic issues I was refering to.
