I had high hopes for this resort, it certainly has some great features-a lake, a pool, mini golf, a nice park, paved roads...what's interesting is there are two parts. You check in at the office and weekend sites are across the road. This place is huge too! Unfortunately, the owners decided to drop a load of black dirt on our...

Called around and Cokato Lake was the only place with the water on! This was our 2nd trip to this resort. Off season, so no activities, but all we wanted was to sleep in our camper and have a fire! Kids had fun riding bike and playing at the playground. Mom and Dad enjoyed the peace and quiet! We'll be...

Great family friendly place with plenty to do and very friendly people whom must own. Considering buying this yr. Some great deals. And my young children would love it. Very private setting!!! The heated pool was great, the entertainment at the red barn was unexpected but great adult time, and the office sells ice cream in many flavors for a...

I am sorry that you heard trains every 20 minutes at the Cokato Lake Rv Resort. To the best of my knowledge they are 3.5 miles South of the Campground and are very seldom heard. I could not even tell you how often they come through town because we have never heard them due to being so far away!! We...

We rented a camp site at this campground and were pretty disappointed - it was nearly impossible to get into the site because of the slope of the hill. The campfire pit ended up being 2 feet from the camper so we couldn't even have a fire. The main office check in location had such a tight turning drive that...

My six year old is obsessed with Motor Homes. When granted a few days off of work, I was able to reserve an RV on short notice for a Monday and Tuesday night camping trip with my two boys. The hosts were kind and helpful. The RV was clean and in good repair. There was a large yard, ample fire pit,...

We stayed in an RV on lot #346. The heat did not work - and we really needed it. The hot water was minimal and the toilet worked only so-so. The dishes were all plastic and had been melted in the microwave. We satellite tv did not work and the internet service mentioned on their website is only at the...

We stayed with 3 other family members this past weekend and had a great time. It helped that the weather was "normal" and low humidity for the first time in weeks. The hosts were very accomodating and the grounds beautiful. We stayed in one of the rental trailers which was very nice. My only complaint would be that the mattresses...

My whole family went to Cokato Lake RV Resort for a nice weekend of camping. We had a great time there and it was so much fun. The campground is very clean and the staff were very helpful. We were able to move to a different campsite and the staff were very nice and considerate when we requested to move....

“If you want to cook outside, you will need to bring a grill, or one of those grate thingys that fits over the fire pit. Also, the store has very little besides wood, ice, and beverages (you can get an ice cream or pizza though,) there is a good market in Cokato about 4 miles away with anything you might need.”
