It's not fair that I had to average out this review to 3 dots, but the place is such a bi-polar tornado of trite kitsch, and weird-fantastic, it's all I could think of. This stay was the crown Jewel of this years vacation for my wife and me...a trip to the North Woods in autumn and a night in the...

I just got back from the weirdest weekend ever at the Nordic Inn. We were one of 6 couples celebrating a milestone birthday of a friend. There were good, bad, and odd qualities of the stay: I will highlight a few here. Steinarr (the owner...AKA CrazE Viking) was interesting. He kind of bit our heads off right off the bat...

WE STAYED HERE LAST 4TH OF JULY .. had a great time ! The Owner Steinarr was an Excellent Host very attentive and humorous., never a Dull moment. The décor was Viking themed and Medieval. Thor the Great Dane also was a great Host. What surprised me the most was the Breakfast the next Morning, it was so Delicious and...

I had no expectations going in, since I had no idea where I was going. My husband took me to the Nordic Inn for our anniversary. We had a great time. Leave your inhibitions at the door when you visit the Nordic Inn. You will be greated by the Crazy Viking and his loyal companion Thor. Steinner loves to play...

My husband and I were married in Crosby last month and stayed at the Nordic Inn with our friends all weekend. We had the time of our lives! Steinarr was so hospitable and engaging the whole time, serving us gourmet food for breakfast lunch and dinner. He likes to do everything a little different and it makes things much more...

I rented out the Nordic Inn last month for myself, my fiance, and ten of my friends, and we held our wedding down the street at the Memorial Park in Crosby. In addition to staying at the Inn, we also hired the proprietor to cater the wedding for 200+ people in the park. The food was amazing and everything ran...

Worst time ever! My husband and I went to Nordic Inn for a fun and romantic anniversary getaway. Our check in time was at 4:00 and we got there at 3:54 and the owner "The crazy viking" all but ripped our heads off for showing up early. Then he began talking our ears off for about four hours (felt like...

My husband and I stayed at the Nordic Inn last evening. What a unique place. I do a lot of research for different places and this one was right up our ally. I called before we leave ND to confirm arrival and dinner. By reading his website, I knew ahead that the dinner was extra which was fine. We arrived...

We had an amazing time during our stay. Our 9 year old daughter thought the crazy Viking was the best ! The staff was amazing with making sure our daughter was made to feel special. Be prepared to eat the food was amazing and there was sooooo much. The jokes and stories were free flowing at the bar after supper....

It's a really cool place - we got to stay in Odin's loft, which was the Viking ship. The place was very clean, the bed and the air mattress were both really comfortable, and the jacuzzi bath was relaxing. We were the only ones staying the night we were there, and I think that's why we didn't get to dress...
