We stayed in two different units here, a two room lake view suite and a 2 br lake view family suite. The first was a little bare bones but very clean and adequate to our needs. The second was better appointed and very comfy for 5 people ranging in age from 18-72. This place exemplifies Up North vacations from a...

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Great views, wonderful location, nice and quiet, and the place felt like home. This was perfect for us and we are already making plans for next year. You made it a trip we will always remember.

Was looking for something less expensive than downtown hotels with some amenities to entertain a family. Lakeside fit that and more. Rooms were adequate, don't expect the Ritz, but the room had everything needed. Hotel had several outdoor activities which kept everyone busy when we weren't on the go. Again don't expect top of the line... you're not paying for...

It takes a lot of work to keep up a resort and this one is showing its age. That being said, the prize is fair. The room had a pretty efficient use of space for the most part. We stayed in a room with a bedroom and two couches/futon type things in the main area worked for twin beds for...

We love the Lake Superior Open soccer tourney. Our team drives three hours to play each summer which requires an overnight stay. This place was recommended from a hockey coach to one of our dads. So we booked it on his recommendation. We had two families in our group who had major issues. One brought her puppy, who was so...

The owners are wonderful people, make you feel welcomed. The entire process to reserve, check-in and out were easy. The price is fair considering most rooms have a kitchen and that alone saves a TON of money not eating out all the time. There is also onsite laundry that only cost a couple dollars a load and that came in...

Don't expect a Disney park hotel or even your typical chain hotel amenities. What you get for a weekday $90 room is clean, "relatively" comfortable lodging away from the bustle of Duluth. The TV was a new 32" flat screen. There was a mini fridge. The towels were in great shape. Not a huge item, but the toilet stool was...

I have mixed feelings on what kind of review to leave. I will list positives and then negatives. Positives: Great location! Just north of Duluth, and works very well as a base for trips up to Two Harbors and further north. Friendly and helpful owners Perfect for smaller children. There is mini-golf, pool, and lots of outdoor toys and playground...

This is one of the last of a dying breed - the mom and pop resort. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, family oriented, conveniently located place to stay while visiting Duluth and the south end of Lake Superior's north shore, this is it. Stay here and enjoy all that the city of Duluth has to offer (15...

We've stayed here many times with our two sons. The Lake Breeze is still a great spot for families. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and it was large enough for the 4 of us. As the website says, there is a heated pool, each unit has a deck and a grill for use. Beautiful view of Lake Superior....
