I really needed to get out of town to unwind. Still too cold to camp, so reserved an overnight reservation here. I stayed in the Okabena Suite on the 1st floor. Comfy room with kitchenette, separate bedroom, private deck with bistro table/chair. Flowers in the room on arrival and omelettes/pancakes in the a.m. Loved it!

Very cute boutique hotel where every room is decorated different. Price is not to bad either considering you are right across the road from the lake. The breakfast that you get in the morning is a very nice touch. They do need better parking though for sure since it is very cramped.

We stayed in the "cabin room." The room slept 6 and was decorated for the holidays. Everything was very clean and the homemade soap was amazing. The breakfast was great. This was a fun place to stay, we will visit again!

Lovely inn on old Hwy. 61 just after the split. It's got a bit of a European feel to it. Might be a converted motel. We stayed in the Wolves' Den suite. I had no idea it had a small kitchenette in it, as that isn't in the photos. There was the cutest little stove, a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee...

We love Duluth and the North Shore! This was our first state at the Inn. What a nice spot! Of course it didn't hurt that the November weather was some of the best! We stayed in the Loon's Nest. Our room was very clean, quaint and the bed was very comfortable! Beautiful view! We enjoyed sitting out on the patio...

We have been coming to the North Shore for 20 years. This cozy little Inn is just what we need as a getaway from our hectic lives. Butch and Julie are the ultimate hosts. Our rooms are always very clean and well stocked. We appreciate the kitchen but also know many fine restaurants in the area. It just doesn't get...

We have stayed at the Inn on Gitchee Gumee twice. Each unique suite or cabin is decorated with rustic Lake Superior themes, many items hand-hewn by the owners. Throughout the summer, the grounds are an explosion of color with floral gardens, shrubs, water features, and hummingbirds. The firepit blazes at night where guests can visit or just gaze across the...
