I only wish we could have stayed longer! Book your reservations early or you might miss out! The house is absolutely beautiful and Tim and Angie made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We were afforded privacy but anything we could have asked for was at our fingertips. It was quiet and peaceful but offered plenty of opportunities to fill...

My girlfriend and I had an awesome weekend stay at the A.G. Thomson House. Angie and Tim's hard work does not go unnoticed, from maintaing the rooms/house to their wonderful breakfasts. They go to the extra mile to ensure their guests are comfortable and are able to relax all weekend. The house has all the necessities, whether it's a full...

Tim and Angie made this trip to Duluth a truly wonderful expierience. The Room was spectacular as was the rest of the house. All the small things they do as it relates to detail made the stay so much more enjoyable. The house was spectacular and the breakfast was too good to put into words! When Tim told me the...

My husband and I went to the AG Thompson House for our 5th anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our trip. Tim and Angie made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The room, and the view of the lake, were beautiful! The breakfast was delicious! We've both been to Duluth before, but Angie's suggestions made us visit...

Tim and Angie made us feel welcome from the moment Angie came out to the parking lot to greet us, until she hugged us at the front door when we departed. Such warm and nurturing hosts! We shared wonderful breakfasts with their other guests, and enjoyed the coziness of their parlor, both in the mornings before breakfast and also in...

We've travelled extensively around the US, and in particular, the midwest. Duluth is a favourite location, yet we;ve never found the right place to stay - and sampled many of the leading hotels and accommodations. We won't be looking further. This is without a doubt, the classiest, yet most welcoming and unpretentious, B&B we've had the pleasure of staying in....

My wife and I came to Duluth from Miami, FL for Grandma's marathon weekend and couldn't have been happier with our B&B stay at the AG Thompson House. We are making an attempt to complete one marathon in every state. Before each race, we stay a few days in the race city - using the marathon as an excuse to...

The first time we stayed at the A.G. Thomson House, Tim and Angie absolutely blew us away with their hospitality and their menu! We have been back twice more and will be back again. The house and rooms are very comfortable and cozy and the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The entire place is relaxing. Tim and Angie really do...

My husband and I have stayed at MANY B&B's throughout the country but this is one of the best! We decided to do the Lake Superior Circle Tour for my 40th birthday and my husband's 41st (both in September) and this was our last stop before heading home. Tim and Angie made it special with flowers and cake upon our...

We recently were married and wanted to take a 'min-moon' and we came acorss this Bed and Breakfast. The pictures on the website are great but they don't give the true story of the house. This place is great. Tim and Angie were wonderful and the food was out of this world. We stayed in the Lake Superior room and...
