Very nice place to stay. Clean. Quiet. Good service. Large rooms. Lots of flowers planted outside. Very cute Great location. Close to downtown. Average price. Family owned. Nice people. Coffee and turnovers for breakfast.

Tired of chain hotels we thought we'd give a privately owned motel a try. Owners were very friendly and price was reasonable. Located on the main drag in Ely so everything is easy to get to. We stayed in a second story room in the main part of the building which were definitely a "motel-type feel". There were rooms that...

We have stayed in some dives in Ely, but this places was a treat to not be 'roughing it' BEFORE the camping trip! It had GREAT sheets that made you second guess the sleeping bag coming up. Free breakfast before heading out and COFFEE at 6 am was nice!

The Aventure Inn is a green motel which was appealing to us. We had a room on the second floor with a comfortable king bed that had amazing pillows. So amazing, that I ordered two when we got home! The owners must get asked about those pillows often, as they gave me the information I needed to order, printed and...

Great suite with attentive friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Dogs are welcome! Eco- friendly management mindset is a plus with strong wifi internet. Great coffee in the morning with tasty pastries. Only criticism is the 1 ply toilet paper.

Thank you for your kind words and noticing the sheets we use. We want you to sleep on the same sheets we use at home as it is all about the sleep comfort. We noticed your note about the toilet paper. We buy the toilet paper in part is because it made out of recycled paper. We sacrifice a bit...

We have been to Ely, MN on four (4) different occasions, in the past and we stay at the Adventure Inn, every time, unless they have no vacancies. For three of our four stays at Adventure Inn, we have been in the new Solar Building. All of the accommodations at Adventure Inn, are A+. The owners of Adventure Inn, Mark...

Friendly staff, wonderful room. Very minimalist, but so clean and very comfortable. The only negative is that there is only a continental - rolls and coffee- breakfast. Would book again if I return to Ely!

Thank you for your kind words and suggestion towards or continental breakfast. Our space is very small in our office/lobby. We will definitely look at a way to improve on that end. Happy that you want to return to us when visiting Ely again. Regards, Sue and Mark Edgington

We stayed at the Adventure Inn for 2 nights. We have been to Ely several times and stayed another hotel but the Adventure Inn was recommended to us and much less expensive that our other hotel choice. We found the hotel/motel to be clean and very adequate in every way. The free wi-fi was fast. There are many beautiful flowers...

Our room was on the second floor of the newer building. It was spacious and quite comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped and I liked that the soaps and shampoos were in dispensers rather than those small wasteful bottles. Owners and staff are very friendly! I enjoyed my coffee and pastry outside at one of several seating areas. Various recycling bins...

We rented four rooms, each with two queen sized beds, for the night before heading into the Boundary Waters. Rooms were fine. Donuts and coffee in the morning. Beautiful hanging flower baskets. Location is at the far end of Ely, but it's a very small town. Computer in office works fine for printing boarding passes for airlines.

Thank Jef K
