We absolutely could not recommend The Deer Park enough. Everything about our visit was perfect, the food, service and atmosphere was impeccable. Upon arrival we were seated in the lounge for our welcome drinks, gorgeous atmosphere with lovely views and the drinks were lovely. We ate our 3 course meal in the restaurant, Mark who was looking after us was... More

Big family celebration today at the Deer Park. Family meal for 17 provided no difficulty, Sunday lunches were all cooked and served perfectly, good sized portions and little wait between courses, the only downside being the need to order well in advance. Wines very acceptable and reasonably priced, lovely to have a glass of bubbly included upon arrival. We will... More

Very nice room with a large bed and generous ensuite. Excellent staff, and great breakfast and bar snacks. Lovely gardens. Loved all of the sports pictures and books, even if it was not clear why they were there. The sofa's in the lounges were much too low, and were very uncomfortable to sit on. Evening meals were too expensive for... More

me, my partner and dog came to stay here for a night away and what a beautiful place. The grounds are well kept and the otter trail walk was lovely especially after a long drive and a very excited pup. There is plenty of parking and it is so dog friendly we even had a goodie bag from the dog... More

We organised to have our year 13 Leavers' Ball here and could not have been more impressed with Georgie and the rest of the fantastic events team who were always happy to help with any request or issue we had. The success of the night was in large part to the stunning new Orangery which all of the guests were... More

Stayed for two nights in the main hotel building, rooms are fantastic with a luxury feel and dinner was superb. Staff are very attentive and nothing too much trouble. They want you to have a fantastic relaxing break. Grounds are kept well groomed and if the sun is out there are lovely walks and places to simply sit and relax.... More

We stayed for a night (wish it was more) with our Jack Russell and felt thoroughly spoilt. The staff were lovely, food excellent, room charming with huge comfy bed. We had such fun exploring the beautiful grounds, the walled garden has a huge array of plants and sooo pretty, well worth a visit - credit to the gardeners. All in... More

What a super Country Hotel, the entrance driveway sets the tone of relaxation. The friendly and professional staff attentive and warm. The food was excellent, hats off to the chef and kitchen staff. In short a quintessential gem nestled in the best County!

We stayed for one night with our young family and relatives and we wish we could have stayed longer. Room was lovely and spacious and the bed very comfy. The grounds were beautiful and the gardeners so friendly and happy to answer questions. The walled garden is a credit to them all stunning! Lovely sandwiches and scones at lunch followed... More

I stayed here for one of my best friends weddings as she had hired out the whole place. As a bridesmaid I arrived just for the beginning of the ceremony. My partner had driven up beforehand. We couldn't check in until 3 which was well after the ceremony. Once we got the room, although it was very large and spacious... More
