The Residence Inn/Marriott is the place to stay if you have to visit the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are well furnished and maintained, the staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is awesome. The 'subway' to the clinic is great and it also connects to CB3, (review coming!) a great restaurant that I visited many times on this trip. I...

Fairly new and friendly staff. On the subway system and close to the Mayo complex. Rooms are quite small but adequate. We had a one bedroom suite with a complete Kitchen. Quiet and windows ventilate. You won't be disappointed. A nice Marriott property.

The hotel was very nice. The front desk employees were very polite. The room was clean the pillows were soft and the bedding was clean. The only issue we had was that the room was cold for a few hours before we got it to warm up.

We stayed here during a medical visit to Mayo. The front desk staff was nice. The room was fine, and the bed comfy. The real value is the subway system so that you never really need to be exposed to to the elements if you don't want to. That feature alone had me book a second stay when Mayo didn't...

The hotel is conveniently attached to the Mayo Clinic subway. The room was huge and really well priced. It had a full kitchen, nice sitting area with pull out couch, and a nice sized bathroom. The only downsides were that the pillows were really thick and the trash under the kitchen sink hadn't been emptied before I got there. The...

I visit Mayo Clinic once or twice a year and try to stay at this hotel. This is extremely convenient hotel if someone is visiting Mayo or just Rochester. Staff is extremely nice especially their Director of Guest services, Mr. Steven Peterson who greets guests himself and make sure that their needs are properly taken care off. This hotel is...

We stayed at the Residence Inn downtown Rochester last night prior to a Mayo Clinic appointment today. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening in downtown Rochester. This first class hotel has access to the downtown walkway subway system. We were able to walk underground, out of the elements to dinner last evening and to my Mayo Clinic appointment this morning....

Stayed here for a week with my family. Hotel is small, but very comfortable. Housekeeping was quick and responsive. So was the front desk. Everything in Rochester at Mayo was built 20-30 years ago, so some of the layouts are dated and not practical. Our 2bd2bth suite has the thing I hate about hotel rooms built in the 80's and...

This hotel is 2 blocks from Mayo Clinic, but even though I'm here when it's 19 degrees outside, I can walk to the clinic in 5 minutes in their underground tunnel they refer to as the subway. Since I'm from FL, I didn't need a coat the whole time! But the best part of staying here is the Happy Hour...

Stayed at Residence Inn Rochester for about 3 weeks in December while accompanying someone undergoing medical care and surgery at Mayo Clinic's Methodist Hospital. Very convenient to appointments via subway. If you want to visit patient in Methodist Hospital after 8:30 p.m. there is just one set of doors you'll have to buzz security to get through to get to...
